There's a point where you can take the LARP-ing a little too far, guys.
It's all fun and games until somebody messes up the ojou-sama's drills.
Personally I find this whole thing hilarious and I'm surprised there were others playing along.

It was fun pretending to be a proper butler for a while. ^^; Though yeah it's gotten old so I'm gonna stop. My apologies, ojou-sama.

Ponies cheat though, using other actresses to sing for them. They'd complain how they're not as good of singers as ponies.

Can it be next week yet? The scene withwas fantastic, as was the scene with themHimari and Shouma in the dreamon the beach with Kanba.
I don't know how they're going to explainbut I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for them to try.Momoka and Sanetoshi's existence
The one thing I'm kind of apprehensive about is theI'm not sure where they are going with it, unless theplot twist they keep hinting at.are justboxessymbolic, like so many other things in the show.
Stylized? Yes.nothing will beat this

Heartcatch Precure! Fashion Show in the Capital of Flowers... Fo' Realz!?:
Most spin-off movies to long-running telly series feel like nothing but an episode of the show on a big screen. This one... is just the same. It even goes to the point of introducing a new character to become the centre focus of the entire flick. Fashion Show's high point, however, is that Olivier is a microcosm of each of the Precure's character growth from the series -the scenes with him spending time with the girls and them opening up to him are beautifully done, certainly helped by the sublime background art of Paris.
I like all of Satoshi Kon's stuff. His movies and Paranoia Agent. I loved Kino's Journey. I loved Ghost in the Shell: SAC. I enjoyed Serial Experiments Lain. Someone told me to watch Mushishi. I also started watching Baccano but I couldn't make it through it. It never held my interest.
But the show is usually hideously ugly and bad looking so a departure from that is a good thing.well I wouldn't called it that at all unless every ep is in the same art style maybe ill let you get away with bad art direction for fight but wouldn't call that the style of the show

When did this show become Tamayura again? Seems like a long way from the wacky moe variety show and weird idoru Olympics from whenever ago.
Quite the :firehawk ending though.
As much as I love the fight sequences in Heartcatch a full movie of that would be out of place. Plus the actual development time outside of the battle segments give those a bigger punch when they come around. Too much combat can be a detriment: for example, schlock like Advent Children or a Transformers movie, where the action is so non-stop it loses any impact after the first three or four fights.I think that worked out well for the film. It gave it a reason to exist, rather than just have the same characters run through material that has already been well trodden. It's very easy to go wrong when you're making an anime movie based off a series, there's so many pitfalls. They could have just made it all fights, for example, but they didn't got that route either.
It's rather commendable.
Oh you're good. Definitely taking it to the next level here.No better way to handicap a series than forced nostalgia pandering.

It's not nostalgia, it's mono no aware! :firehawkNo better way to handicap a series than forced nostalgia pandering.
I thought those would be too on the nose!

Oh, I do agree with you.Perhaps you misunderstand me, I was saying that it's a good thing that the movie wasn't wall to wall fight sequences. That rarely makes for good storytelling or interesting characters.

For me nostalgia is an almost negative quality - i.e., the sad football star who hangs around high school 5 years after he graduated because his life sucks - so I insist on the distinction.I'm going out of my way to not use that term, as you might be able to tell.
