This thread deserves a better class of internet criminals. And I'm gonna give it to em!
lol @ this thread
As if a 1080p off-screen capture is that much improved over a 360p or whatever the other ones are. They're all going to be shaky hard-to-hear messes.
Then why are you making a point of busting his ass about it? Just ignore it and move on. Christ.
What has happened to this thread?

"This thread must be destroyed."
Oh how wrong you are.

Cuz it's sure as hell not in my 1080p offscreen trailer! Want it now!
The final ten minutes of Speed Racer was one of the finest times i've had in a IMAX cinema
If you missed Speed Racer at the IMAX and lets be honest plenty of people missed the film full stop. You missed a treat, shame they will probably never show it again at one even though it has a slightly bigger fanbase now.![]()
It's from the montage at the end of the Prologue.
I can sorta see what he's getting at, being pissed off with Solo. The guy has gone to lengths to create a new spoiler-free thread for the movie but still feels it is necessary to come into this thread (which he presumably created a new thread to avoid) and inform us all of his trailer viewing plans. The fact that his plans to watch it on the big screen differ from pretty much everyone else in this thread and the fact that he feel the needs to point it out to us despite their being a far more appropriate place (that he created) to do so does come across as a bit pretentious/obnoxious/high n mighty/attention-whorey/whatever.
Regarding the trailer itself, it does look fantastic. The prologue was really great too. I'm really liking Bane's voice.
Seeing as were posting gifs. Batwing slowed down

Saw this trailer in front of Mission Impossible last night. Looks ridiculous. Once again, Hollywood showcases their complete lack of understanding on just how earthquakes work. Guys, the earth isn't hollow. Why do you always show the ground collapsing into nothing?
Also, that flying vehicle crosses the line of believability. I'll believe Batman has a military tank for a car, whatever. I'll even accept his stupid sonar device. But a flying Tumbler? How the fuck does Wayne Corporation keep this shit a secret? What about all the engineers who designed this thing? "Hey, Batman keeps using things we design for Bruce Wayne. Maybe there's a correlation?"
i wasn't always here in the mountains
once i had a wife
my great love
she was taken from me
Like you I was forced to learn there are those without decency who must be fought without hesitation. Without pity.
Maybe this is Nolan's MGS2.
Im betting the effects aren't done for that yet.. Right now it just seems to float along on its own accord. Still so weird seeing that in a trailer, I feel like it was just yesterday they were filming these scenes here in Pittsburgh, haha.
OH MY GOD JUST QUOTE MY POST AND PLEASE SHUT UP
mybe they add some more stuff but i love the fact that they didnt just make the whole thing cg and used a "real" thing instead.

I just find it funny that an aerial vehicle gets the "This is ridiculous!" comments, but having a bike built into a tank didn't. And don't give me "He added that! That wasn't meant for the military" stuff, you need real engineers for that work and Batman doesn't trust NDAs.
Do people really think an earthquake was responsible for what happens in the football scene?
Pm me the prologue.

i really hope they get rid of the american national anthem in time for the second trailer.
it's a really...horrid anthem.

Aw hell nah. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us! USA USA USA!
I see. I thought the complaints were being attributed to an actual earthquake. We know that the earthquake machine initiated it. The rendition of the effects lack real insight.
or having a "tank" that is able to jump across rooftops
i really hope they get rid of the american national anthem in time for the second trailer.

I agree.
I think all of batmans vehicles are ridiculous. I don't know why some are considered more realistic than others.
Except jumping across gaps was the whole of the vehicle.
And you guys are right: Motorcycles built into tanks and sonar vision are stupid, too. But the flying Tumbler is even worse. Just because some bullshit existed in Batman 1 and 2 doesn't excuse Batman 3 from all criticism.
