Saw this trailer in front of Mission Impossible last night. Looks ridiculous. Once again, Hollywood showcases their complete lack of understanding on just how earthquakes work. Guys, the earth isn't hollow. Why do you always show the ground collapsing into nothing?

Also, that flying vehicle crosses the line of believability. I'll believe Batman has a military tank for a car, whatever. I'll even accept his stupid sonar device. But a flying Tumbler? How the fuck does Wayne Corporation keep this shit a secret? What about all the engineers who designed this thing? "Hey, Batman keeps using things we design for Bruce Wayne. Maybe there's a correlation?"

But his anger at Solo is from other threads and other times when Solo has jokingly trolled.

I don't care to carry this on further, just think he assumed Solo was trolling when he truly wasn't. I kinda wish the other spoiler free thread was alive, but all the new info spoilerz and spoiler free gets posted in this thread along with the discussion. At best I hope people spoiler tag here well enough.

Let me get this straight. You think that Bruce Wayne, one of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the world, who is secretly a vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands; isn't capable of keeping a flying tumbler secret?

Agreed. They rushed this straight from editing room. Even the earthquake,which was crap btw and too accurate in destruction, lacked sound effects.

They had a car under it. Pretty much CG spend on cleaning up the footage instead of adding it on the scene >.<

mybe they add some more stuff but i love the fact that they didnt just make the whole thing cg and used a "real" thing instead.
 
I just find it funny that an aerial vehicle gets the "This is ridiculous!" comments, but having a bike built into a tank didn't. And don't give me "He added that! That wasn't meant for the military" stuff, you need real engineers for that work and Batman doesn't trust NDAs.

I agree.
I think all of batmans vehicles are ridiculous. I don't know why some are considered more realistic than others.

And you guys are right: Motorcycles built into tanks and sonar vision are stupid, too. But the flying Tumbler is even worse. Just because some bullshit existed in Batman 1 and 2 doesn't excuse Batman 3 from all criticism.

But it's not a flying tumbler. This isn't like the Tumbler to the Batpod, this is it's own thing that was created for the military. Maybe I guess that's what's putting people off? Or are people not aware of flying vehicles? Is this like that Conan old time baseball skit when the airplane flew over?
