At first I was really angry that LoA doesn't has online mp, but after playing through a few quests I must say that I don't regret this purchase. The game is pretty slick and it looks much better than the PSP version. Now to find Japanese people to play with, as none of my friends is planning to buy it yet...

Appreciate the kind words, gentlemen. It's been a fun day.
I'd also like to thank you twentytwo22. Great vids. Definitely among the best I have seen out there discussing the Vita.

Now that you've had it a while how do you feel about your purchase? Any shopper's remorse or worth every penny? (or whatever is the Japanese equivalent to a penny)

No remorse in the least, this thing is amazing.

Might have felt remorse if I splurged on more launch titles (if some of them turn out to be real duds), but I conjured up the power to hold off until we hear more about their actual quality.

BTW Keiician, I find it funny that LoA got a 9, 9, 8, 8 last week in Famitsu for PSP and now it is being reported that the Vita version got 8, 7, 6, 7. I'm assuming that since these are different weeks, the four reviewers were different people. Not that Famitsu's score means anything, I just found this funny. I'm definitely enjoying it so far, love how fast paced it is.

Yeah, your vids were amazing, good work!

Those scores were fake, I have the latest Famitsu and there's no single Vita game review there (they were supposed to be in last week's issue). Too bad we won't be able to play together though...

Seriously a bummer. I've got nobody else to play with here, either.

Hopefully we can get our multiplayer on with some titles soon.

twentytwo22, have you tried browsing to m.youtube.com?

Vita HAS to work there.

If the Vita browser does not support HTML5 features then it's the biggest disgrace of the system.

It didn't work ;( It's weird, because I could swear Sony talked about HTML5 before.

I wonder if the browser side of things was rushed a bit (even though the app itself is quite nice) because we can't use the browser without closing games either, and I thought we were going to be able to.

If m.youtube.com doesn't recognize the Vita as a mobile device it will redirect it to main site, just like any desktop browser.

They overshipped didn't they? The two SKUs are discounted about 1000 yen each on Amazon and I saw the more expensive SKU at GEO for 2000 yen off bout 5 p.m. today.

Thanks for the reply. That's a darn shame.

I'm pretty sure that they said something to the effect of "It's not where we want it to be yet, Stay Tuned™."

I really want to get one, the appeal of new hardware (really nice looking hardware to boot) and my prolonged holidays is making it hard for me to resist. There just aren't any games that really interest me.

I doubt it's a bomba. Amazon's Vita stock situation has changed a lot of the last couple of weeks. It might be sold out in 5 minutes from now. I was definitely surprised at the mark down I saw at GEO, though (I checked pretty thoroughly to make sure it wasn't some sort of deal, too).

This is not an indication of a trend or anything at all, but interesting that the Vita is climbing up the Amazon chart after being nearly out of the top 10 before its release date. Vita wifi is now #2 and 3G is #7.

Again, just an observation - not an indication of what the sales are ultimately

It's just that they should be finally back in stock, after being with almost no stock at all, I think.

Really looking forward to see new videos for Dynasty Warriors Next.

Actually the 3G version wasn't out of stock - only the wifi version was. The 3G version was languishing in the teens but now is back up at #7.

Has anyone tried running any PSN games via Remote Play? I'm dying to know if Sonic CD works or not. It seems that PS3 games aren't working, sadly. but I'm curious to know if PSN games are working or not.

Has anybody answered the account switching questions yet?
What exactly does it delete when you switch accounts? Does it wipe the memory card? Does it work out all right if you have two different memory cards?

The redsungamer guys ran Pixeljunk Monsters and it ran fine over remoteplay. Anything that works with the PSP remote play will work with PS Vita. I don't think they added anything else.

Sonic isn't on the list. I don't think it works!

PSN games are identical to retail games in everything but "packaging". What applies to one applies to the other, including remote play.

So far it seems that all games that worked via remote play with PSP work with Vita.

Moar Ridge Racer :o

This is the only game I want real bad for this Vita. Can you disable the touch screen controls on the Vita if you dont want to use them?

I know, just like their Christmas sale every 3 days, it's pretty pathetic.
What is pathetic with lowering prices?

The Amazon discount isnt really much of an indicator. Just a quick example:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B003T9VDGO/

Already 15% off the price and the game isnt even out for some months.

It is a pretty good indicator in this case. Yes, they do sell pretty much every game for 10-15% off. I've been following the Vita for about 2 weeks now though and it's either been marked up (up to 30,000 for the 25,000 version) or not available for pre-order.

For them to now have stock (hasn't changed in the last few hours) and be selling both versions at a slightly discounted price says to me that there is ample stock to go around at the moment.
