derrick bateman is in a love triangle with maxines mom maxine and johnny curtis is trying to steal them away while they are now arguing on Percy's show

NXT is amazingm why havent you guys told me about this

So let me get this straight....

CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes & Zach Ryder are Champions
Kevin Nash has a leg injury
Ziggler sells like a champ
John Cena doesn't work a PPV

Did Gaf take over WWE creative?

now JTG is out talking about how percy watson paid him money to cause all this, now maxine is out talking about shoving up things

this is amazing

Fools hating on overselling now? The right kind of overselling makes a match so much more entertaining.

SMH @ how negative you people always are. Little whiners.

A certain level of overselling is good - like what Ziggler does, and Hall taking the stunner. HBK's stunt against Hogan was kinda lame.

now matt striker is the acting gm and makes a match while percy watson beats on curtis

josh mathews questions why matt striker gets to make the rules

2011-12-19-it-begins.jpg

Takers dating a scrawny 12 year old boy?

now titus oneil is explaining to acting gm matt striker about how he is sorry about letting his emotions getting the best of him

matt striker says he doesnt have to face darren young, but titus says he goes around schools talking to kids, he has to put up a better example for them because he is NXT's cena

Question: When did blatant overselling suddenly become cool?

Terrible post. Ziggler last night wasn't overselling... it's just that you THINK it is because most everyone else can't sell worth a shit so when you see something as beautiful and graceful as Ziggs in the ring you think it's too good to be true, but it's not Frankman, it's not.

This made me burst out laughing for a good 20 secs

Ziggler is starting to oversell too much. What Scott Hall did is almost botch-worthy it's so bad.

Who is this Little Jimmy to tell me what overselling is and back away and apologize later for it?

I know what overselling is.

Care to share?

Supposedly Michaels was going to go over. But at the last minute, Hogan politicked his way into being the winner. Michaels was pissed, so he made a joke out of the match.

EDIT: Have been keeping up with the thread. Heavy's posts alone are enough entertainment to pass a day away.

From what I recall, they were scheduled to have a series of matches with Hogan and Michaels each winning a match. Hogan essentially said "NOW LISTEN HERE BROTHER" and got to bow out of the match Shawn was supposed to win, so the infamous overselling was the result of that.

That's the short version, at least.

bah, beaten like Shawn.

I also think Hogan didn't want to take any bumps because his back, could be wrong though.

Wonderful.

This makes me want to watch Raw for the first time in a while, but after MITB I can never get truly optimistic.

Dark Match:

--Ted DiBiase defeated Dean Ambrose. DiBiase got a good pop from the crowd that had been sitting in silence for 45 minutes or so. Ambrose got some "What?" chants during his short promo. Solid back and forth action that the crowd was into. Ambrose impressed but lost when DiBiase hit Dream Street.

Superstars spoilers:

--Alex Riley defeated Mike McGillicutty. Alex "I still work here" Riley was out to a loud reaction for someone who hasn't been on Raw in months. McGillicutty came out to little reaction. The crowd was behind Riley big time when he was on offense. A huge "We Want Ryder" chant broke out momentarily but died out during match. You could hear crickets when McGillicutty was on offense, In the end Riley hits the TKO to get the win.

--WWE Tag Champions Air Boom defeated Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. Air Boom was out first followed by Reks and Hawkins. Bourne and Hawkins started as Hawkins opened with a slap, which Bourne answered with a swift kick followed by a cool huracanrana. There was a tag to Kofi and they worked some come double team moves on Hawkins. Reks tagged in and and grounded Kofi. Reks and Hawkins dominated for the next couple minutes. Kofi came back with a quick pin on Reks.
