Random question: Anyone on the west coast notice no longer get the live feed of Raw? For whatever reason, the USA HD channel I get (Comcast, btw) started showing the show at 8pm instead of the usual 6pm. Have no idea why this is. Wondering if it's just me.... :/

I always get the 8 PM version of Raw but that's the non-HD USA channel. I just watch Raw online at 6.

Hold up, I left the ppv after Ryder won last night thinking the rest would be horrible as it was for every other ppv for the last 6 months and I ended up watching the ppv and Raw just now and it was fucking awesome! I'm all in. Daniel Bryan even got a submission win on Del Rio tonight. Fuck yeah. This truly was a great Christmas present from WWE.

Really? That sucks. I remember being so happy the first time I got USA in HD, because it allowed me to watch Raw 3 hours earlier.

What is going on with the WWE? Raw was pretty awesome tonight and Ryder went for an underdog to a credible threat. Bryan is easy to make look legit because of his submissions and indie cred.

It's nice to see fresh faces on the way up, and Orton and Cena move a little lower on the card too.

I want to put my vote in for Rhodes winning the Rumble and facing Bryan at Mania.

I'm honestly surprised Orton and Cena haven't been shoehorned into the main event scene like earlier in the year. Ortons still feuding with Barrett and Cena is feuding with Kane.

Wonder who's feuding with Bryan though since all accounts are pointing to Y2J feuding with Punk when he comes back.

Based on Raw looks like he is going into a feud with Big Show, which is the worst possible scenario to show off what Daniel Bryan can do in the ring. Hopefully WWE sticks with Bryan as champ until atleast Mania though. The pessimist in me says that they'll have him drop it within a month, possibly at the Smackdown tapings, but I'll stay positive for now after he looked strong on Raw.

Yeah really hoping it isn't Show even though all signs are indicating that it is.

Kane beats down Cena and people cheer, while 3 girls chant Cena's name. This reminds me of when Hulk Hogan fought Yeti and no one cared Hogan was getting beat up haha.

Cena getting suffocated and his following miraculous recovery was my highlight of Raw. For some reason the whole t shirt swiping by Kane is reminding me off the coffee thing with Jericho.

Yeah, fuck that annoyed me so much. The girls were right there in the front row screaming for Cena. The way the camera was positioned, it was almost as if they were plants -_-

Aside from backstage skits, does Ryder have decent enough mic work to cut a promo? All last night during the opening was "WOO WOO WOO! YOU KNOW IT!", basically. If that's ALL he's gonna do, than I'm a bit worried.

He can stumble a little when it comes to live crowds rather than filmed segments, but he's certainly very enthusiastic and energetic. He'll get more used to it and bring the same charm he has on his show, now that he's getting a lot of TV time.

I'm being serious. I mean, he's a decent enough wrestler, but we all know you have to be able to cut a promo. Otherwise, he's just gonna be like Santino Marella.

Santino can cut promos. Remember when he was a heel talking about how terrible Steve Austins movies are?

As long as Striker doesn't use nicknames all the time or mark out, I would like for him to be on Raw as a heel commentator.

I liked Striker as a commentator. He brought a lot of excitement and knowledge to the booth. I'd be so happy to have Striker and Matthews on commentary. Scott Stanford is pretty good too.

I don't think I'm going to Smackdown tonight. No Del Rio. No Ricardo. Sucky world champ. It's boring OKAY.

It's so fucking obvious that Kane is getting fed to Cena, but it makes me wonder who he's facing at WM. I have a dark feeling that it's Henry, and that this heel run won't last.

has there been any talk about why Vince lets Cole do what he does or whats the opinion of people backstage about his commentary?

Its not like Cole has any merchandise to sell and its probably slowly hurting the ratings.

The announcers are probably the most important part of the shows TV presentation and Cole just makes it unbearable by LOUDLY TALKING OVER EVERYONE AND IGNORING THE MATCHES!

I still think he would make a great heel manager for someone.

Man WWE's only sold like 50 tickets to Mania in the past week. Serves them right for using the interactive seating chart. Those charts encourage people to wait instead of buy right away.

With the Royal Rumble and Elimination chamber being the next ppv events I can't see Kane and Cena having any sort of proper feud, just time killing stuff for the weeks leading to the ppv were they will likely have Cena and Kane battle in small skirmishes during the rumble match and chamber match, no doubt that Cena comes out on top in those events. then again Cena probably wont be in a chamber match unless he's trying to bring the WWE title to his WM match against The Rock.
Mark Henry facing Kane at WM is a possibility though not one i'd be excited to see, I expect both men are far more likely to be involved in a multi-man match that will be lucky to reach 5 minutes in length as per the new WM trend, no doubt they got to give extra time for HHH/Taker 2: Wheeze harder

They're also mostly showing crap right now. Aside from the 200 level seats on the far side of the arena, I wouldn't want any of them.
