I'm an expert
Formerly worldrevolution. The only reason I am nice to anyone else is to avoid being banned.
Marvel's never done well here. It's always been the US community that was fond of it.
Can someone answer this question please?
According to someone on twitter, you can avoid resetting the vita by having three memory cards and using one as a dummy. This apparently allows you to avoid resetting the vita all the time you want to switch accounts. Has anyone tried this?
How does this stop you requiring to reset?
I'd assume you'd use the dummy card as the one you use to reset with (so it gets wiped and prepared for use on that account) and then, because the other card is already prepped for the relevant account you can just plug it in and go. And then when you change back again do the reset with the dummy card (wipe) and after that put your original card in.
Quite a clever idea if it works. Expensive though!

Yes, definitely.
And LoA is really good. I've got about 10 hours or so into it now, and I like it a lot. Great mix of PSO-type gameplay and MH-type gameplay.
@the UMVC3 situation - this sucks. I bought a bomba game.![]()
Tbh, fighting games aren't exactly popular in Japan anymore, unless it's calls SSB. But i'm surprised Capcom haven't done a Jump vs. Capcom yet. Even Western audiences are familiar with Jump characters from Bleach, Naruto, Dragon Ball etc. Or are the licenses in the West not in one place?
So when you switch accounts, you have to wipe the card too?
Edit: response below is what I'm thinking of.
I thought I'd read (info might be inaccurate now, seemed to change daily for a while) that you need to reset and wipe the card. If not then I don't see why you'd need a third card at all. That idea seems to be based on the assumption that you have to wipe the memory card when you reset. But you don't (or so I believe!).
To switch accounts you 'just' reset, don't wipe the card, then swap to another card. Or if you don't have a card per account, restore data from a ps3/pc for your second account. Don't see why you'd want or need a third card for the system reset when that doesn't have to involve memory cards at all (?)
Sadly, no.UMVC Vita isn't cross compatible with PS3 players?

Man, the 4GB card I ordered from Play-Asia on Monday will be here tomorrow but my Vita from NCSX won't be here until Tuesday.#firstworldproblems
Sadly, no.Is there any way to do online in LoA? Not sure if it's even an MP game but I'm almost certainly sold on it.
At least its not the other way around ..
Yeah, I am actually pretty glad that my card is getting here first. Sounds like the system is fairly useless without one.
anyone picking up a vita in HK tomorrow?
Sure thing, my Jp. PSN id is Niiro-Matsuki.
Edit:
Oh come on, Japanese people. Seriously no one is playing UMVC3 Vita online? Seriously? :|
US PSN accounts still not work?
It shouldn't work for now because Vita US PSN won't switch on till near US launch.
Invite sent.I found a match second time I tried. Haven't played anymore than that though, but will later on. Add me if you wanna play some day. ID: MajorBoomer
AI party members, there's no online play. In the PSP version you can use ad-hoc party, but in the Vita version the only multiplayer you have is the normal ad-hoc...Are those online shots or are those AI party members?

Yeah, it's definitely better than running around alone, but I'm really irritated that one of the English sites spread the false information that the game has online play... That was one of the main reasons I bought it in the first place.Ah, still cool though. I like it when the PSO/MonHun type of games allow you to roll around with an AI posse.

Yeah, they're all on the Vita store. You can't access it from Media Go as far as I know, don't know about the PS3.Are full Vita games on the PSN Store at this moment?
Ok playing around with the vita and figuring out the best way to reset.
You don't need a card in to reset so two memory cards seems to be the way to go if you want to switch between accounts, although it's a bit annoying.
The problem is that when you sign up your account is tied to the system, even if you don't have a memory card in. This means you need to do a full reset in order to change accounts, which means re-entering wi-fi passwords, account name and watching that movie over and over again.
It's annoying because the ability to sign out of one account and into another is there, Sony just seems to have locked it, which is slightly frustrating.
Yeah, the WiFi-only model doesn't have a real GPS. I think it's checking the position based on IP or something, but I don't remember the details.Question (not sure if it is already asked): is it true that the wi-fi only model lacks the GPS function???
If so, a wi-fi model won't be able to play games like Monster Radar, right? A couple of websites are telling this, I want to be sure which version to buy (don't care about 3G connectivity, but I will like to be ablet to play any game I want).

oh oh... that leads to a second question: are the PS Vitas tied (locked) to any 3G operators? Or will I be able to use a simcard from any operator I wish? Is this also true for the upcoming NA version?
Wonder if they'll even bother updating Adhoc Party for PS Vita. They should, if only because you can still play PSP games on it.
Are there any good PSP games on the Japanese store that have English language audio/text??
That's what was written in a Q&A, I can't check that.Do we know for sure that it doesn't work with Vita?
Not really a rumour - it's written in the Vita FAQ that they're looking into it, but it's locked to docomo at the moment. They are currently locked to the JP carrier, but their was a rumor or something that said it may be unlocked at some point.
No one knows yet if this is true or not for US/JP
one question, are all the PSV games available as download, and if so, can you download them? Because I believe they will be much cheaper than importing retail, right? However, I am not sure if the store would accept US credit cards...
As has been answered (even on this thread page...) - yes. You can buy them, you can download them but you can't use a CC other than a Japanese one to pay for them (you'll have to buy points for paying in the PS Store online). Yes, the games are cheaper than in some stores and definitely cheaper than the recommended retail price.one question, are all the PSV games available as download, and if so, can you download them?
