Not interested unless you breakdown Dwayne's impact in a one-on-one debate with Heavy.
From the start, I thought having Rock wrestle at SS was a bit risky, but Meltzer seemed to be convinced that any possible decrease in the WM28 buyrate would be offset by the theoretical increase in the SS buyrate. Now I don't know what to think about how WM28 will do.

Your suggestion would've been better as well, I'm just throwing out what I think could've been the optimal way for the angle to turn out. We got crap so anything would've been better, really.
And though ridiculous, HHH being possessed by Liquid Vince would have indeed been better as well.What did anyone expect? The Rock wrestling is cool in a "Oh look at that" kind of way, but people aren't going to come back in droves. The public perception of wrestling right now is that it sucks, especially to the fans of the Attitude Era. I'm sure Wrestlemania will do fine as it's the only reliable buyrate of the entire year, but mainstream audiences don't really care about the rest of the shows, even with Dwayne.

It is impossible to like both and if you hate both than you probably hate pro wrestling and prefer the honor and integrity of Mixed Martial Arts.

I'm going to take the Jim Cornette route on this one and blame everything on short term, short sighted booking, a lack of compelling characters, a lack of compelling feuds and too many instances of creative not playing to wrestler's strengths or successfully disguising their faults and instead expecting every wrestler to take whatever shit creative gives them and make it work, and more than that, make it believable.
No one amongst the lapsed WWE fans will give a shit about Dwayne if he isn't saying anything compelling and if he doesn't have compelling characters to feud with. We've had his return to the WWE, his return to RAW and his return to the ring, so what's left? A few more months of the same old lacklustre Cena/Rock back-and-forth we've had since the feud started, followed by, what in all probability, will be an underwhelming Wrestlemania main event? Exciting!
