That used to be a thing with the X-Division, every other match you'd see something new. Now you're lucky if they do something like that on PPVs.

That match was great. NEver seen face breaker and that reverse moves before. The guy with afro was really good but his in-ring character looked lame with the yelling and stuff

The whole Pope/D-Von thing is so far gone from reality. Who in their right mind buys into D-Von's sons turning on him for no reason at all? The entire angle is annoying. They should've at least gave his kids a reason for them to side with Pope other than "DAMN DAD, WHY YOU SO STRICT?!?"
Well the pope is in the dark knight rises so that makes him cool. That follows the reason on the show why they turned on D-Von because he not cool and not in any movie at all.

Keep in mind while watching this that it Michael Buffer charged a million dollars per appearance.
Eric spent a million dollars of Ted Turner's money just for that.
You're not serious about the Buffer thing, are you? That's amazing.
There's a reason he's completely erased from the WWE-released WCW DVDs. They cut any camera shots that show him and you get time-traveling Chimel or Roberts announcing the match (voiceover only).
Find the one of the WCW DVDS on Netflix if you have it that has the Goldberg/Hogan Nitro match, you'll see what they did.
I remember Eric talking about this whole idea in his book and how he kept trying to get Vince to agree to a real fight for a PPV and how Hogan pulled him aside backstage and told him that Vince could very well knock Eric the fuck out and hurt him bad.
I believe that. Especially since Bishoff has probably never seen a muscle of his own in his life.
