Tobi probably would have been way more interesting if he kept his aloof, comedic persona after the reveal. Because him being all serious about using the moon to hypnotise the world does very little for me.
I was just talking about this with my sister; that Tobi would be a much better villain if he was still being a dumbass comedic villain who was seriously trying to fuck over everyone. As soon as he became serious he became downright boring.

Tobi being a comical psychopath would have been awesome. Though Kabuto would then need to get a bigger role to become the "brains"

I don't understand where this notion came from, where a character has to be pathetic for him to have character development.

Is it something exclusive to gaf? cause this the only place I've ever heard this shit(I heard it several times).

Whiny pussy fan base only breed more whiny protagonist and more whiny protagonist attract and pussyify more whiny fans, the endless circle of pussyfication goes on.

And that's another reason why Air Gear is one of the best manga around. It not only stays far from pussy protagonists but also portrays romance much more realistically than the majority of shonen.

Tobi is probably one of the worst ideas Kishimoto ever had. Orochimaru (RIP) was so much cooler. He had that villain charisma that Tobi is sorely lacking.

I never understood this, oro was never a great villian in my books. what was so special about him? it always came too off to me that kishi was trying too hard to make him creepy so it just came off too cheesy for my tastes.

Creepy is cheesy and one of the most abysmal twist-filled characters isn't?

Tobi is a good boy..

I really love the filler eps in the anime.
"I am a school girl in love with her sempai"
"Hide myface butnot my but"

Having sudden twists is far more cheesy than being creepy, which is a factor that has nothing to do with being cheesy in the first place.

I didn't say creepy=cheesy i said that it seemed to me that kishi was trying too hard to make oro creepy and that's why it came off as being cheesy.

anyway, you guys ever watched Konoha Gakuen Den! it was one of the extras on a Naruto Shippuden DVD. Imagine the Naruto cast in a highschool.

here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1_2AsZQERQ

" When he finds his birthmark may grant him mystical powers over the opposite sex, will he finally be able to use his butt to his advantage?"

I'm very intrigued to read this manga now
I as well. I've seen it on MU before yet for some reason had no interest.

But what is the deal with the "Ore x Yome" prequel? Is that worth reading or required for Kono S o, Mi yo!?

EDIT:
Eh shit, there is a prequel chain even after that one. I think it might just be related universe shit from the author.

The only thing that would prevent this is Fairy Tail being cancelled. Book it.

What this guy said, Natsu x Lucy is SO going to happen. "Shounen logic" will always trump good old "logic logic" in these scenarios, so it doesn't matter that Natsu has been nearly asexual the entire series. It's still gonna happen.

EDIT: Oh, and Erza is going to get trolled before this is over. Next time we see Gerard/Jellal, he's gonna have fallen in love with Ultear or something.

Oh man I thought I was the only one... I can't stand Oro haha.

Kabuto on the other hand is a man I can get behind.

They're pretty much just expys of Haru and Elie. It's gonna happen, whether it makes any sense or not. Even if Natsu's not into chicks.

Nah Natsu is definitely into chicks. Did you forget about that little hotspring event? Also he was totally into Lucy's maid and that whole "blushing around Lisana bit" seals the deal.

It's not really a series. They are only tied together by themes and don't even reference each other.

Its surprising that he wasnt in a love interest with Ultear before, shes always been all over him.

I think the farthest Natsu x Lucy will get, is that promo for next years movie.

Great, thanks. I'm loading up for the holiday due to some travel. Just added this new one along with Kannagi, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Sundome, A Girl by the Sea, Choujin Gakuen, and Kurogane. I would've added Übel Blatt except I still have Claymore, Gangsta, Vampire Bund, Half Prince, Lucifer BH (yes, still!), Mahoraba, and Sekirei in wait. Guh...

I think I should be good for when I hide from family to read manga. Isn't that what the holidays are all about?
Where is Juuuuuump. =(
Read something else.

Read this first. You won't regret it

I should have loaded up manga for my trip. Instead I'm just reading some fantasy novels

Good Ending 109 is out at Red Hawk.
"Note that thanks to our early raw provider, this release is a full week earlier than iMangascans used to do it."
This is the main reason I was hoping this series would switch teams. And no offense to iMS, since they did a great job with it, but they were just too understaffed to handle it with all their other projects (well, the TL quitting was a bit of a problem too). It's probably for the better that they can let it go.

As for the chapter itself:

Kabuto??? What does he do that Orochimaru didn't do better?

The entire "edo tensei" side of the war arc. If Orochimaru had a fraction of Kabuto's forsight instead of fucking around trying to get Sasuke's body, he should have built an invincible army.

Coincidentally, the 2nd hokage is fucked up for creating that jutsu.

GE

I just had the weirdest brainwave in which I started to wonder: what the fuck is wrong with every character?

Sex is pretty fun. Why does everyone in this series act like it's physically painful and the biggest deal in the entire universe? It really....isn't.

Fairy Tail

Gerard and Erza almost kiss! ... but don't.

GE

"I don't hate you"? Great confession there ... yeah ...

As for the other plotline, Utsumi made the right decision, I'd say.
