Trying to watch ROH Final Battle and I'm up to the start of Benjamin/Hass vs Briscoes. The production values are so shit and it's kind of hard to make it through this show, especially at almost 4 1/2 hrs. Is it too much to ask of a company that has put on multiple internet ppvs to not have production errors throughout the entire show? Fucked up audio(can barely hear the crowd, cameras don't appear miced so wrestlers talking into the cameras are silent, graphical errors, missing promo videos, etc. The list goes on and on. This shit is non excusable, especially from a company owned by a corporation worth hundreds of millions of dollars. They need to fire their entire production staff, which by the looks of things is some homeless guy they pulled off a street somewhere that gets liquored up before every show.

Yeah, I remember having that issue when ROH was on HDNet. I was tempted to fast forward, as I taped it on my DVR, past the promos and head straight to the action in the ring.
I suppose once you get used to it all it becomes way more tolerable.

Even so, it was particularly bad at Final Battle, was way worse than at Best in the World. The most unforgivable thing, production wise, was the number of missed spots by the camera crew, and some truly awful handheld camera work when guys were on the floor or the apron.
Also, it's worth noting that this was the first ROH iPPV since Dave Lagana, who used to produce the ROH iPPVs, went to work for TNA.

Nog (the guy in my gif) is supposed to be sidelined for over 6 months and should return after recovering from surgery. I guess that could be considered good. Frank Mir (the other guy) had a motorbike accident in 2004which left his legs in way worse condition (broken legs and torn ligaments) and sidelined him for two years.
But he ended up with a brief stint as interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. That's something, right?
The UFC games are so much better than the WWE games.

There's a good Hart Foundation/Rockers tag match on the show too, but WWE copyright claimed for it even though they don't own the fucking footage! Assholes.
And this is why I prefer wrestling. I have no desire to see two human beings legitimately beat the shit out of each other. Sure, accidents happen in wrestling, and wrestlers sometimes partake in particularly dumb and dangerous spots, but I've yet to see any wrestler break another wrestler's arm on purpose.

Same, I think they are pretty similar in a lot of ways.
I think UFC does better pro wrestling style builds than any wrestling company in the world.
I don't mind MMA, but I hate it when...
-The fight is too short; kinda annoying.
-The fight becomes a "hugging match"; too much holding, not enough beatings.
I rarely get the PPVs to begin with unless it's really something I want to see.
Otherwise, I'm kinda uninterested.
Guess that's kinda why I prefer wrestling mostly.
