I prefer the high theater of rasslin' as opposed to the reality "fly on the wall" TV style of UFC. Go Rastlepiece Theatre!
2.) CM Punk vs. John Cena, Money in the Bank
Uh oh, I was hoping this wasn't #2, because now we know what #1 is...
1.) The Undertaker vs. Triple H, Wrestlemania XXVII
I think we've all had about enough of the debate about this match, but I think even its staunchest supporters would agree that it has no place topping Cena/Punk. Interesting that WM only places on the list twice, at #1 and #25. Even WWE knows it was a sub-par WM! I bet they shoehorned Cody vs. Rey on here just to get WM on the list a second time.
In one corner stood a megalomaniacal barbarian driven mad by his desire to break The Streak.
Jericho's twitter said:Sick of all the questions so this is it...from now on I'm not answering anymore wrestling related questions. I'm done w WWE. Deal with it"
JR's twitter said:"People sat a lot of things. TBD."
During a recent WWE creative meeting, the idea was pitched of moving CM Punk to the SmackDown brand later in 2012, to help provide the show with additional star power. Punk has not been a strong ratings draw on RAW, so the idea is that his character could be more of an asset on SmackDown, where he could continue to deliver great matches and promos without having to be relied upon to deliver ratings.
- Speaking of the WWE champion, Punk is the driving force behind Zack Ryders recent push.
- Jack Swagger has launched a new online video series called Topless Q&A. Swagger answers questions from fans while at home with his shirt off. If youre into that sort of thing, Head over to Beeyoo.com/RealJackSwagger.
There is a lot of concern within WWE headquarters that the Network wont be ready in time for the planned launch date of April 1st, WrestleMania Sunday. The Network will be launching as scheduled no matter what, but the quality of the programming and how smooth everything runs is still a major topic of discussion behind the scenes.
While some staffers fear that the Network could bomb within the first year, top company officials are still firmly behind the project and see it as Vince McMahons biggest venture since the first WrestleMania.
- During a recent meeting of WWEs creative team, a feud between John Cena and World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan was discussed.
- One of the new shows that will air on the WWE Network will be a 1-hour RAW pre-show. In recent weeks, WWE officials have also been discussing post-game shows for RAW and SmackDown as well.
MMA is just boring as fuck to me. Where are the suplexes and stone cold stunners!?

Chris Jericho commented about the speculation of him returning and once again he's spoken against it. He said:
Someone asked JR, and he responded
Although the internet has been pointing to the vignettes hyping a Jericho reveal, what if this wasn't Chris Jericho? Who else can this be? I've been trying to guess a wrestler fits the description of having been in the WWE before and could make his return.
I don't understand how things like boxing and MMA are even legal.

Fffffff
context? I know that's fedor. did he get injured bad?
I've been wondering why they didn't use Goldust at the PPV when after Cody attacked Booker T. They used to be Tag Team partners so it would make sense. It would have been awesome too!Dusty tweeted this;
"Cody and me Vs. Goldust , T-Book"
That's a match I could get behind for WrestleMania. Although I'd have Goldust turn on Booker and then Dusty, Dustin & Cody form a new heel faction called 'The Rhodes Family'.

True. I guess that's a possibility.Again, Undertaker.

is he trying to say book it, or is he talking about booker ?

Combat sports on the whole, or just those two?
Jan 2 is too early for Taker. He cannot come in then, and stay interesting for three months all the way to Mania. The Monday after the EC PPV is the earliest that is right to re-debut him. Also, Kane has not even had a PPV match yet, and bringing back Taker before than happens makes Kane a bit pointless.
I couldn't even think of any other ones. But, like, if two people willingly got into a fight in a bar, they'd be arrested. So what's different? lol
You're making a lot of sense. It's prob Jericho then

I don't mind MMA, but I hate it when...
-The fight is too short; kinda annoying.
-The fight becomes a "hugging match"; too much holding, not enough beatings.
Guess that's kinda why I prefer wrestling mostly.

I'm not particularly bothered with who's at fault, I'd just rather not watch something where someone's going to potentially get their arm snapped.
Wrestling has a lot of nasty looking and plain unsafe bumps, but at least the participants know they're taking the bump, have time to prepare and the option to simply say "no, I'm not doing that". I mean look at that suplex gif up there - sure, the guy was fine afterwards, but that was so crazy unsafe you wouldn't even see the stiffest Japanese wrestlers throw a suplex quite so dangerously reckless.
And yeah, I'm aware of the irony of a guy who watches a ton of death-match wrestling not wanting to watch MMA because of the potential for serious injury.
:lol*cue Undertaker music*
Booga T: OH SNAP IT'S DA UNDATAGGAAA
Other commentator: The Deadman has been sidelined since that brutal match with Triple H that everyone but the fans think was the best in Wrestlemania history
*Undertaker takes off hat, eyes rolled back of head*
*Punches, opponent downs Taker once just so he can sit up... punches... Old School, Irish whip - Taker duck and reversal... Chokeslam, Tombstone... 1-2-3*
Boogaloo T: DAMN DA UMPABAKER KILLT HIM
Other commentator: That's right Booker - the Deadman is back with a vengeance and he's got his eyes on that World Heavyweight Title
*Followed by a month of squash matches and another injury*
REPEAT

Keyser, that was what I thought at first. But what if Jan. 2, we only see that Taker is being revealed to be at WM but does not return?
The only other option is the idea I came up with before, where since he has no WM opponent, he pulls something a la 1997 Sting and spends each week "scouting" possible opponents for his match (where as Sting was scouting to see if WCW was a worthy side in the fight against the nWo), only to give a promo saying he could find no mortal soul worthy of the honor before his opponent is revealed after EC.
I couldn't even think of any other ones.

The final January 2, 2012 promo will air tonight. We're hearing that the promo will make it clear who it is for.
Triple H is scheduled for Raw tonight.
