I'm done with ROH unless they improve production values. There is no reason Ohio Valley Wrestling or Chikara should have better production values than ROH. Chikara even has intro fog and lighting and trons. If they don't want to invest money in their own product I am certainly not going to.

You're probably done with ROH then, as I can't see them significantly improving the production unless Sinclair manages to sell the TV show to other networks and they start getting the returns they're after. Also, the production at the iPPV was bad, very bad (which I'm attributing to the fact that it was the first iPPV without Dave Lagana after he left for TNA, although it's still inexcusable), but in general the TV show is a lot better production-wise.

Plus Chikara is just so much more interesting and fun. ROH takes itself so seriously and it is sort of drab and boring.

I don't think the fact that ROH takes itself seriously and is trying to present a more sports-orientated product is what's making it drab and boring, but rather that the top guys in the company are Roderick Strong, Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards. All three are fantastic wrestlers (although I'm getting a little sick of Davey and his 'American Strongstyle' crap), but none of them have the necessary personality and charisma when compared to previous ROH main event wrestlers like Austin Aries, Nigel McGuinness, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, etc.

Personally for me, PWG is the best wrestling in the US right now. Fantastic shows (seriously, no duds in the past 2 years and counting), a lot of great wrestling and some awesome characters. It's like half-way between ROH and CHIKARA, and while I do love CHIKARA and feel that High Noon was the single best iPPV of the year, I find there isn't enough diversity of styles outside of guys like Kingston & Brodie Lee and that this can sometimes make their shows a bit of a chore to watch in one sitting.

No offense, but I don't get your point about Kane in 2012? This is wrestling, and the old guys are always on top.

We're about to have a WM that is headlined all around by old dudes. The Rock vs. Cena, Jericho vs. Punk, and HHH vs. Taker with HBK (who's retired) as the ref. I mean, that match is a rematch of a rematch from 10 years ago.

I mean, if your problem with Kane is that he shouldn't be headlining a show in 2012, then you should probably just stop watching for the next few months. Hell, we just had a HHH/Nash program go on for months.

I, personally, don't enjoy watching Kane, HHH, or Nash. The Rock also to a lesser extent, but I'm guessing that's just fallout from feuding with the most boring opponents possible. I'm cool with Jericho and Taker as long as they can go in the ring. My comment was just to point out the fact that I'm having to defend my stance on a Kane promo in what's about to be 2012. Kane. In 2012. Who cares? Shouldn't really be a big deal that I thought it was terrible.

Good for the Bravados. A stay in the NOAH dojo, getting their asses handed to them by Shiozaki & KENTA, will surely do them the world of good.

Also, big YES to more NOAH talent in ROH. Tanahashi, Marvin & Sugiura would be my picks, as KENTA is sidelined with injury and Marufuji is just returning from injury, which is quite a big deal for NOAH (he's teaming with Ricky Marvin against AJPW wrestlers Shuji Kondo & Hiroshi Yamato at NOAH's first show of the new year, as Kondo has stated he wants to steal some belts from NOAH in retaliation to Akiyama winning the AJPW Triple Crown).

I was reading stuff about ROH wanting to bring in NOAH guys since like July. Good to see it's finally happening.

It's not a big deal that you thought it was terrible, but I'm amazed that you're shocked that Kane is relevant in 2012. Dude, over the past year we've had Kevin Nash, Big Show, Mark Henry, The Rock, HHH, Undertaker, and are about to have Chris Jericho all be in major programs.

Why would Kane being relevant in 2012 surprise you?

There's a UFC thread up. Go shit that thing up for a couple days.

Dream is a inconsiderable troll of a poster. And a thread clinging troll, I'm sure he won't ever go away, til he slips up and gets banned.

Also, I thought R-truth was going to kill Miz, shit was real :O

It's doesn't surprise me in the least which is another issue for another time. My point was strictly that I'm having to defend my opinion that a Kane promo was terrible. Why should anyone take offense to me thinking a Kane promo was terrible in December 2011 when Kane's been one of the most mediocre performers for, literally, years before finally getting his stuff together for one World Title run? Kane isn't worth arguing over. It's freakin' Kane.

The problem is that you want others to respect your opinion, but you're shitting on other people's opinions, simply because they want to discuss Kane.

You absolutely have the right to dislike Kane's promo, but don't dismiss other people's opinion, because "it's freakin' Kane".

Holy shit, G-Fex just insulted me. G-Fex who hangs out in furry threads. G-Fex who sims rasslin matches in video games and streams them. G-Fex who was ostracized by the ponyfuckers because they found him lacking. That G-Fex. Holy shit.

See, now I didn't know about any of the furry or pony stuff, because I don't post or lurk in those threads.

Apparently, though, you do.

Why?

oh my GOD you guys STOP

I JUST WANNA TALK ABOUT RASSLIN

not any of this pony shit. or this furry shit. or any shit !! Please god make it stop

Who said he lurked in those threads? Post history, playa.
Nah, fuck that. You can't know that much info unless you've been in those threads, and follow them, even if it's through G-Fex's post history (which is a feature that was only recently brought back).

I would find it even weirder, honestly, if he was stalking G-Fex's posts to that extent.

SoulPlaya is actually right. I've been making fun of G-Fex since before he joined rasslegaf and started simming matches between spindashing and white women.

This.

And don't you guys have a community thread for your e-fed stuff? Take it there.

White women? Where?!?!

Just be rational. If this shit keeps up, a mod is going to come in here, scare 95% of us (who are scared for no reason, Mods are MODERATE) and turn this into a no-fun zone. Just scale the shit back, guys. Cmon!

That being said I watched Fall Brawl 2000 and it is unbelievable how far WCW fell in a year. One single year. Paisley vs Kwee Wee? Misfits In Action vs 3-Count? Lance Storm vs General Rection? Filthy Animals w/Paul Orndorff vs the Natural Born Thrillers?

What a shitshow.

There is no e-fedding going on here. This shit is actually happening with net and heavy and dream and g-fex. And its pretty damn funny.

Who's opinion did I shit on? This whole this stems from me calling the Kane monologue terrible, spin replied that it "Wasn't THAT bad," me explaining why I thought it was, and life went on. Heavy's the one constantly coming to the rescue, and acting like criticism isn't warranted unless it comes from his mouth or is book ended by some kind of optimism that I don't care to display. If anything, I'M the one constantly stating that my criticism is just as valid as someone else's opinion who likes what they saw.

This is a forum, we discuss shit to the nth degree, opinions are thrown out, not everyone will agree on everything. That's how it works. For him to get so butt hurt and claim he "almost put me on ignore" is some shit I don't care to argue about, especially when it stems from a KANE PROMO.

FREAKIN' KANE?!?!

I can't put my finger on it exactly, but something about this picture seems off.
Let's talk about Wrasslin.

So what colored shirt will John Cena wear next week?
White. Or Rainbow, to match with his Fruity Pebbles. Cause he's fruity like that.

No I'm throwing truth out there and Dream finally pays attention whoop dee fucking doo. He's trolling and his posts are shit and I'm not lying. Then you got Lyte Edge trying to "back" him for some reason even though I didn't bring up my e-fed and it's such a lame excuse to bitch about it.

Who the fuck is he? I don't know nor care.

But hell I'm done with that back to wrestling and sports entertainment and whatever the fuck Vince wants to call it.

I can't wait til next monday.

I'll be completely sold if Masked Kane cuts a promo advocating small government and individual responsibility set against a backdrop of red lights and ominous music.

He needs a new t-shirt to ring in the new year. Kids love that new year merchandise.

Luminous Green shirt with an uncle Sam style pointing Cena on the front with text below that reads "I respect you"

alternatively "I need you...for the Cenation", Vince can practically smell the riches from this post

You're shitting on people's opinions by saying "I can't believe we're discussing freakin' Kane in 2012."

If people want to discuss Kane, let them, especially on a show that has HHH, Nash, Henry, and Show in major positions.
