I'm in for cheering for a random number. I missed cheering for my guy last year because I was at the rumble live. Who got Santino last year?

Awesome, I'm in - it was pretty fun last year and I definitely ended up cheering for (and being disappointed by) a wrestler I wouldn't have given a shit about otherwise (Otunga). Hopefully I get someone better this year. I have a feeling Kane's going to eliminate a ton of people again.

For those that don't know/weren't here for last years what happens is you get randomly assigned a number that corresponds to an entrant in the rumble. If that entrant wins then you win. It can make the Rumble more fun by giving you a bit more investment in it, you can also end up cheering someone you wouldn't normally.

Edit: If I were ridiculously wealthy, I'd actually buy WrestleMania tickets and the winner of this competition would literally go to WrestleMania. But I'm not and so we must all suffer.

Don't we need to win Qualifying a match first?

I'll wrestle Spindashing for mine as he'll be easy to beat. All I'll have to do is go "look there's AJ" and do a Kelly Kelly Rollup while he's not looking.

And if Orton is legit injured, I think the Miz will win it. or Jericho if he is the one behind the cryptic messages.
 
Astonishing foresight time:

Orton has been fighting a niggling back injury for a while. This injury 'angle' is a way for him to take a few weeks off and make his triumphant return at the Rumble.
 
I honestly wouldn't be against doing a pool and throwing in a buck or two for the winner.

One thing I miss from Royal Rumbles back in the day is when they would show the wrestlers drawing their entrance number, and then getting to see their reaction. I wouldn't mind seeing that again.

Damn. There's no doubt in my mind he would win the belt from Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania... IF he's lucky to keep it that long.

No matter who you were, if you were in the Rumble, you HAD to cut a promo. I love it.
 
We need sites for the following:

1. Randomize the order of the 30 people and it must be 100% not cheatable somehow

2. Reason I say that is cause how bout we all pitch in 2-3 dollars. Even just 2 bucks means 60 for the winner

3. Need a site where we can put all the money in a pool like a public group somehow, i dunno
 
Money is a bad idea if this is open to everyone, because it creates a barrier. Just do it for fun (I wipe my ass with $20s so this is not an issue for me)
 
Once we get past 30 I will also see about organising the blocs in a way that people are matched up with people they might particularly want to be in a bloc with.

This is the site I used for last years one.
For the putting in money idea we will have to see how many people are up for that. Thats where it may be handy having more than one bloc. I also don't want people to feel like they have to pay to enter this and then get put off. I tend to think we should maybe just leave that.

Sounds good. Yeah money probably wouldn't work out since we'd need all 30 to do it which would be hard. If it was like 5-10 people like in a fantasy sports league that's a different story but 30 will be too hard
