the only given in the fight is that brock will take down reem at some point. he's taken down everyone he's faced, and guys with better ground game and tdd than reem.

Depends on how long the fight goes for, but probably. Brock, while not having the most versatile takedowns, does have a powerful double-leg takedown and it wouldn't surprise me if he drops Overeem on his ass. Biggest key to Brock winning is laying on top of Overeem, tiring him out and pounding him.

But if they're in the clinch I'm not sure Brock overpowers Overeem, and if Reem gets that double underhook he can start hitting knees to the midsection and tire Brock out quickly. And Brock's work off his back isn't stellar; it's just as easy to see Overeem on top of Brock and abusing him.

After the Cain and Carwin fights it's tough to see Brock winning. I have to imagine he'll still flinch and cower away when hit and against someone as aggressive as Overeem, that could be his undoing quickly, and violently. I see an Overeem TKO and maybe even KO being the inevitable result, or a guillotine after some clinch work. It'll be easy to tell how the fight will go after the couple minutes, provided it even lasts that long, of course.
