Ah, sorry, my mistake then. I thought they were still 512 or something. What???
A 3DS cart is a minimum of 2gb, devs can use bigger carts if they want to (Up to 8gb). Revelations is using 4gb.

EDIT: Sorry, that sounds unreasonably crabby. What I mean is: medium brightness on both is more than sufficient and 3DS, at least, can't effectively use its highest brightness anyway, so it seems like a kind of meaningless comparison anyway.
I'm pretty sure MGS3D (everyone please don't buy this) is actually going to be the first one to break the 4GB 3DS cards.
First time I heard of Vita having lower brightness. Can someone who owns both confirm this from first hand experience?
lol, why !? Is it that horrible !?

I usually use my handhelds at home and near a power source, so you'll always find me ignoring power saving options and maxing out brightness. On the the 3DS I'm not entirely content with the brightness level, even when I end up turning off the 3D. So knowing that the max brightness of Vita is slightly lower calls for some concern. Why do people even care? You shouldn't be using either device on max brightness anyway.

See this comparison pleases. If there's a difference, it's indistinguishable to my naked eye.Not exactly the greatest game for brightness in the US 3DS , but hey - neither machine have any issues with screen brightness as far as i'm concerned.
Someone PM me when KoF XIII gets released!
It seems low effort, and I've heard very conflicting things on the quality of the port. I also don't think it's any value to be selling MGS3 alone for $30-$40 with barely any extras when MGS HD Collection is available for $50. If you really want to play MGS3 on the go, wait for the Vita version of the HD Collection.

Is what happen when you have an image of 5 inches and you get that same image upscaled without any kind of transformation up to 20 inches in your monitor.
Don't hold your breath waiting since this is apparently what Konami considers a good HD remake -_-

As someone who played through Peace Walker on PSP, that's actually quite beautiful...
The idea with the HD Collection wasn't to remake the games, but simply upres the games to modern standards, and clean up the jaggies, and some bad textures. Konami actually went a bit above and beyond changing some control schemes, adding native online modes, etc.
Till i have it in my own hands i'll avoid being hyped for it, been burned so far with MGS3D. Everytime i learn something new about it my anticipation dies a little bit more.
Yes it is, Damm Konami and their terrible ports -_-

I don't own a 3DS but the first trailer we saw at E3 was pretty good, if it's the same graphics and controls, I wouldn't call it horrible but I would call it mediocre.
Nope, actually even when it's on I hardly feel the impact from Wifi and BT (on PSP GO even BT noticeably shortens the life).charlequin said:This makes me nuts too. I take it Vita doesn't have this problem?

That trailer they showed at the 3DS reveal was a lie, oh but a lie.
Thank you.I tried to be comprehensive here (all systems are set to max brightness):

Really!?, have they released a recent gameplay video.
EDIT: Oh wow, we are going off-topic.
Thank you.
(Oh, Muffin)
He used a screen shot taken from the Vita and transferred it to the other devices.
I think the Vita beats them in contrast and color pretty easily, but from those offscreen photos, the victor of brightness wars seems to be the late Go.
RIP Sad Duck
You can find offscreen captures from the 3DS eShop demo, but suspiciously it didn't have a trailer at the Nintendo Direct showcase when even lower tier franchise titles got them. People have been complaining about the frame rate, the textures looking really bad.
lol, I hope they cancel it and focuses on other projects.
Pointing out with absolutely no commentary, I like that when Kojima says MGS3DS is a remake everyone calls him a liar, when Square says FFX is coming, everyone thinks it's a remake.
*sigh*
I'll probably end up getting both.
But how can you enjoy it on that device, it doesn't suit MGS style at all.
Vita or PSP would play fine, but 3DS!? No way.
I owwnnnn *counts*four(turns out it's five) copies of Metal Gear Solid 3.
I am a crazy person that prefers the pre-Subsistence control scheme.
I think I'll manage.
Is anybody having the stability issues that I am? Straight out of the 4th freeze today, I reset my console and put it on charge. 15 minutes later I come back to it and am having the blue flashing freeze and have to restart again :S
Is the issue for this known yet? Its starting to worry me![]()
I never encountered this issue, but I usually "kill" all any application in the background before putting it to charge. When you reset I presume there's no application in the background?
Another thing I can think of try unticking the application that are on auto-start, under setting--> system --> autostart and see how it goes.
What???

This worries me because if you've Never had this issue but I've had this problem well over 20 times since getting the system two days ago then why the big difference?
Bah. Just want to enjoy virtua tennis but it keeps freezing mid match.
Fafalada, thanks for that. Most comprehensive comparison I've seen on the net, and it should shut up another source of FUD.[...]

You know, this may be the first time I've enjoyed looking at a black loading screen. Because it's black. So glorious.Isn't googling it faster?

Yet in sunlight, I found Vita the more readable of the two, maybe I'll try taking some shots to see if it's just mental thing![]()
Do I need a Japanese PSN account to download Gravity Daze/Rush/Blitz?
It is on the Hong Kong PSN as well in full english.
Not so fast. Apologize for this first: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=33860719&postcount=132Good to hear. I would've thought that might be the case with it using an OLED screen!
Edit: Oh, so the Vita is brighter after all! That old comparison pic mustn't have had the Vita at full brightness then. All the better!
Really? Making unsubstantiated claims while presenting them as generally accepted fact is Nuclear Muffin's most basic M.O.Not so fast. Apologize for this first: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=33860719&postcount=132
Get it together man, you should be better than this!
