I was under the impression that the fans were disappointed with the TV ending so he made EoE? But yeah, when I first heard about rebuild i was wtf'ing as well.
I did enjoy EoE's ending though, can't see a better way it could've ended.

I've despised every second of Family Guy I've seen, so I wouldn't know.
Nah, Haibane Renmei is my favorite anime of all time but it doesn't need revisiting. The ending was perfect as it was. Anything new would only sully its great name.
I just want Funimation to get off their asses and release the series already. They've been sitting on the license for the series for about two years now.
HNNNGH. Not since Soul Taker has there been such a beloved single character who was far morep opular than the show she came from. Komugi got a spinoff franchise. Maybe Charlotte can? Oh who am I kidding?
