It looks creepy because his face is zoomed in and takes up about 80% of the photo. Not to mention the lighting makes his skin paler which isn't helped by the fact that it looks like hes trying to hold back a smile with what looks like pubes on his upper lip.
I'm willing to bet that normally he doesn't look creepy at all.

Damn, I just finished looking through my photos, and there aren't any good ones with just my face. Something is always going on, or my face would become too small to properly cut and resized. The downside of changing my hair from light-brown to black, not many pictures after six months time.

This is kind of a mind-blowing thought to me. I've been weaseling my way into E3 since I was 17 and have only missed a year or two in the last decade. I remember posing for a picture with the Dead Rising 2 photo OP motorcycle thing and being subjected to a flurry of flashes off strangers' cameras. Feels weird man.
