So how much did you pay in total? You were lucky, or maybe it depend of the country. But in HMV they canceled my Vita because EMS was not allowed because of the batteries. And when I checked it in whiterabbit, they told me that they had to charge me more because instead of EMS they needed to use FedEx to sent it.
So how much did you pay in total?

lol, that's a fucking rip off. Suddenly Play-Asia seems like a better option *facepalm*Nothing, because i decided to wait.
The mail that i received was:
Did Sony or other manufacturers announce any GPS navigation apps?
Nope, I don't think they will, either.
There's GPS PSP applications, I'm sure there will be one for Vita... I'm actually pretty certain Monster Radar (a Vita game) is actually made by that GPS studio.
Wow, you seem to know about SONY more that I thought.
Quick question, do you think more PSP games will become available on PSN after Vita's launch?!
To people who can't get their near location on the WiFi model - from what I've read on one Japanese site right now, if you access point's address isn't in Skyhook's database, it just won't work. You can register it by yourself, but the process can take days.
I've also done it right now, let's see how it turns out, since my "access point" is just my notebook using Connectify to share the dorm wired connection.Have just done this. Near works perfectly at my brothers which is a brand new estate but it doesn't work for me 5 minutes out from the city.
There isn't anything that works with the Vita that didn't already work with the PSP.Has anyone tried Remote Play? I'm wondering what games (if any?) at this point work with it? I just connected both the PS3/Vita, and can't seem to launch anything game- related. I didn't try much (and maybe I'm being ridiculous) but I tried GTAIV and Fifa 12. I know on the PSP, all I really played remotely was Pixel Junk Eden but I just assumed there would be more support for it.

I see only one link to a download list in the PS Store app on the Vita and it seems you can't sort it in any way.how do I find a list of my PSP games I downloaded? Just from that massive list on PSN? No way to filter by platform? I'm sure I had the '10 free games' from when I had a PSPgo, but I can't see them in the PSN download list..
I'm 99% sure you need to be on the same account for remote play via the internet.does remote play need your PS3 to be logged in with the same account as the Vita? Will it work with non-Japanese accounts?
Sadly, yeah. The change when they invalidated PSP games on PS3 for redownload was really badly handled so far.mrklaw said:how do I find a list of my PSP games I downloaded? Just from that massive list on PSN?
Locoroco works for sure.and some of them say they aren't downloadable on PS3 (patapon, locoroco and killzone), so does that mean they won't work on vita?
is it smart to let someone from gaf send me a vita from hong kong?

Yeah, that's the site. You basically have to input all the information they want and wait.how do i go about doing this?
where do i go to register?
edit:
nevermind! i think i found it

I'm using it and it's basically a few folders from/to which you move the Vita data. I think there's an option to backup your profile but I haven't checked.Hey J-Gaffers! Have you tried PSVita media manager for PC? How does it works? Does it lets you back-up all your profile on your PC and restore it later?
Does it need to be connected to internet and logged to PSN?
I was thinking to a crazy situation like this:
I have to restore my games and my account (for example, in a near future, something like 10 years from now) in a new PSV but PSN is down, can I it without being logged?
This is a completely random question but does the HK version of Uncharted have the English title on the spine?
Yes! Pic coming soon
![]()
Depends on the GAFer. Had some good experiences with some and gotten the runaround from others.
The spine stated that Chinese text is included. I think setting your VITA to chinese language will do the trick. Also there is only English in the HK version. Options just has Controls and Audio, but the Audio is just volume control or subtitles.
is Ridge Racers 2 much better than 1? The difference mainly seems to be that RR2 has a lot more tracks from previous games. but RR2 isn't available on UK/US PSN, only JPN..
A number of people have asked me to buy Vita's for them (I'm in HK).
I don't mind answering questions about where to get them, latest prices and the market here but sorry guys: I don't want to deal with being responsible for getting a Vita to you, getting the best price, shipping and dealing with any issues you may have.
Edit: I know this sounds a little unkind, but I have a lot going on at the moment with a new job, moving apartment. I hope you guys understand.

It will work with different and non-Japanese accounts.does remote play need your PS3 to be logged in with the same account as the Vita? Will it work with non-Japanese accounts?
Are digital downloads in the HK store at a reduced price like they are in the Japan store?
Answers to those questions would be very nice indeed!
I'm trying to persuade someone i know in HK to get one for me, and knowing where the best prices are would be a great help. Thanks!
Can anyone get remote plan to TURN on their PS3 and work automatically. My Vita will turn on my PS3 but then I have to press the PS button on the controller for it to work so its pointless anyways.
