Serious question: Are any of you really excited for the return of Jericho? I feel kinda apathetic about it. I mean, sure, he's a great talker and usually has great programs (mostly because he actually has a hand in the direction), but I'm honestly not all that excited about the thought of him returning. Same goes for The Undertaker.

But, say, the return of the Repo Man? Now that's a different story!

It's Titus O'Neil guys

I'm not entirely sure who that is but name dropping NXT guys is fun

I'm interested to see what he does with his character. The shift from Y2J to serious Jericho was something he seemed to put a lot of thought into and in interviews he has talked about how if he returned he would make another big character change. I'm interested enough that I'm going to be watching Raw without reading what happened first (which is helped by me currently being off work)

Not really. I've gotten to the point where I'm sick of most of the old guys, especially when they just leave and come back for WM, so they can get a big payday. It's a slap in the face to all the other guys who have worked hard all year, but will be denied a spot on the card, just to make room for these glory hounds.

WWE is expecting 3.0+ rating tonight due to the mystery man. Can JerioTaker save the shitty ratings slump?

Yeah, I think there's enough hype that it should be possible for them to do a 3.0+ tonight and hopefully it is.

On that new nostalgia stream.. Undertaker Mean Mark Callaway with Paul Heyman Paul E. Dangerously vs. Lex Luger for the US title in a bit.

I hope they don't get above a 3.0 rating tonight.

Just for the lulz that will ensue.

CM Punk will magically lose his title to Cena on Smackdown
D.Brine will magically lose his title to............. Cena on Smackdown

THE CHAMP IS HERE

I wonder how Low Ki's feeling right about now - I mean, when he asked for his release from WWE he could have gone pretty much ANYWHERE and been a top guy; TNA for the lulz, New Japan, ZERO1, NOAH, ROH, DGUSA, etc.

Instead he's done pretty much sod all, wrestling on a few PWG shows and some random indies, but nothing major. Perhaps he should have just waited things out in the WWE and creative might have had something for him by now, or he could have taken the initiative and used youtube to get himself over like Ryder did.

New Japan never offered him a deal. He should have never left New Japan and went to the WWE when he did.

He was IWGP Jnr champion and decided to leave for the WWE. Silly move!

I totally forgot about Jericho's claim that he always wants to change his character when he returns from a hiatus. And unlike his other returns, he *really* needs to change up his persona this time, mostly because guys like Miz and Swagger (during his brief title reign at least) have totally pilfered the wear-a-suit-and-talk-really-slow act.

I'm just wondering what he can possibly do at this point.

Yeh, I have no idea what he will do so thats where my interest is coming from really. Also whatever that character is could be interesting against the current version of Punk,

His new gimmick will be a terrible game show host.

He should come back claiming his stint on Dancing With The Stars has given him the ability to out dance any wrestler and instead of having matches, he challenges everyone to a dance contest.

I'd lol at least!

Can someone photoshop that picture of Jericho standing at the airport into one of him standing on the Raw stage and Tweet it to him? :lol

In an interview, Low Ki explained that he never asked for a release. He was just let go.

Yep, he said that on Dave Lagana's podcast. If true, that is pretty ridiculous on WWE's part. The fans were really into him based on his NXT ranking, so his downfall was 100% Vince and his bizarre haterid of Indy wrestlers.

He could have been a pretty big star, me thinks. Hell, they could have put a mask on him and had him feud with Sin Cara. Shit could have been huge.

He was going to put on a mask and feud with Rey Mysterio Jr but Low ki injured his knee and was out for a while and the plan was nixed.

The biggest problem was that he won the contest. The WWE wanted Alex Riley to win so badly and when low ki beat him it over before it begun.

The worst part? Where is Riley now? Exactly.

I am serious. Yeah he's pretty damn good. Guess that's why he left WWE, stupid Vince.

There is an interview somewhere that he was just burnt out and left on good terms. So he can come back when he wants. Also, he is living his dream right now. MVP is a huge Japanese wrestling mark.
