The Buckeye fans on my Facebook are bitching that OSU didn't self-impose a ban this year. I'm of the opinion that the NCAA would have seen right through a self-imposed bowl ban coming off a 6-6 season and new coach coming in. I think they would have still would have gotten the ban next year anyway.

Good year for Houston. Shame about Southern Miss debacle but whatever, 13 wins is an amazing season.

How is it that the Big 10 sucks in bowl games every year?

Went really well a couple years ago when only northwestern and msu lost.

It's the fucking play calling its so bad, I call a better game than te scrubs on the offensive staff .

yeah that's 75% of it,but 25% of it are the players execution. Miller's inaccuracy is obvious.

Running draw plays down by 2 touchdowns with 5 minutes to go is really ultra trolling by Bollman.

This year is an off year as pretty much all the teams have some major flaw and the matchups are mostly pretty bad, with them being underdogs in all of the important games other than Michigan vs VT.

As for last year, I dunno.

Iowa got a terrible matchup; Ohio State and Penn State are still both in relative turmoil, let's not forget. MSU and Nebraska look fine (UGA and SC are pretty good, after all). Wisconsin will have a lot to say about how the conference is judged this year.

Or maybe your league just stinks this year.

Or maybe your league just stinks this year.

The question was why. I offered some suggestions.

PSU and OSU are in turmoil.

Iowa at 7-5 played fucking Oklahoma.

Nebraska got thumped by a better team.

MSU is competitive.

*shrug* Where did I imply the B1G wasn't shit in that? Was just saying.

If MSU could stop the big play they might be okay. They've made some good plays on D. King is frick'n killing them single handedly though.

I was watching the MSU game. OSU scored?? And we have the ball back? Whaaaa

EDIT: Oh, never mind. Didn't know we were about to punt

I'm really torn on who to root for in the Rose Bowl. On the one hand, Bret Bielema is a dick. On the other hand, Chip Kelly is a DICK.

It really depends on how fat you like your dicks.

Headed to the stadium, I'll take lots of pics and post them when I get back to OKC.

Sounds like more excuses for why they suck. If you change the name of the conference from the B1G to the Big East/WAC/CUSA/ACC, etc. the answer would be, "LOL they suck." However, since the name of the conference is the B1G there must obviously be some outside factor causing the poor play, since the B1G can't possibly ever possess bowl-eligible teams that suck.

Let's do a run-down, ok? OK:

PSU & OSU stink this year. The why of it is obvious to everyone. It doesn't change the fact that they aren't that good.

I never saw people use the "Who did they play" excuse with Hawaii or any Big East team, when they get thumped in a bowl game, because they are playing up a level or two. Why does Iowa get this special dispensation? Is it because they are from a "power conference"?
Iowa stinks.

Nebraska lost to a better team? That's what happens when your conference stinks.

IDK I know UGA wanted to run the clock/make MSU use it's TO. Plus they didn't want a turnover. IDK though. UGA has been moving the ball PASSING though. Make me wonder if they should have just tried to throw and get the 1st down.
