Sounds like more excuses for why they suck. <snip>

Feel free to call them excuses (aren't they the same thing? Injuries being a classic example?) It sounds to me like your argument is "they suck because they suck." Okay, the conference sucks, and that's why they lose. Brilliant. We should chat more often.

The SEC is so good in fact, that next year, all SEC bowl matchups will be against other SEC teams. The SEC is the only conference that can give the SEC competition.

Although I'm disappointed they didn't beat the B1G by at least 50 points in each game. It's a slightly down year for them I guess. I mean, MSU hanging in? Come on.

Damn it OSU, how did you lose to Florida. Florida. I knew OSU wasn't very good this season, but they just lost to an average SEC East team.

Whelp incomming NCAA bans on shiny helmets.

I'm just giving the BIG 10 the same treatment that the Big East/non-AQs/ACC get.

One of the ways people highlight why they suck is that they look at the bowl record and say, "See? They don't perform well vs. other conferences, therefore they suck."

You seem more interested in creating a special dispensation for the Big 10, where the bowl record doesn't apply, the BIG 10 is just a special conference where the actual record doesn't matter in determining its strength.

Tell me why the Big 10 deserves this special treatment, where the bowl record doesn't matter? A certain treatment that other conferences don't have the benefit of benefiting from?

Not sure who I want to win between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Oregon Cylons

Oregon.

The crowd shots of Badger fan will be pasty and "healthy."

Work productivity is shit today.

Well, props for actually going in and trying to work today.

It's bowl game day, time for beer and watching my conference get creamed by SEC. It's a tradition. Must have this day off.

So predictions on the Rose Bowl? I'm trying to be optimistic, but the Badgers D won't do well at all I fear. I think Oregon scores a TON of points.

Also, it's like 85 degrees in LA today.

Yipes.

Why, because they're the Big Ten. That's all the explanation that's needed.

I'd love to see Oregon win by 20+ but I'm thinking their O is going to have an off day. Hope the MichSt/Dwags game lasts until all the pregame bullshit ends in Pasadena.

Prevent/shell fails. Again. Now MSU can do nothing on O again. Weird go coaches turn here team into passive mode in the last two minutes.

Nebraska lost to a better team? That's what happens when your conference stinks.

Our loss has nothing to do with the conference and everything to do with a coaching staff that can't iron out the kinks and get their team to execute properly. It was the same last year when we were in the Big 12. If we're penalty laden, offensively inept, undisciplined play, and lose 4+ games again next season it'll probably be Pelini's last.
