Can someone explain that penalty ruling for me? Why wouldn't you just cheap shot the funk out of someone on a turnover during OT if the penalty isn't ever going to matter?
 
Sadly, I'm nowhere near a place to watch the game, but I was curious if anyone has a gif of the camera falling on the field during the UI/OU bowl game.

It seems you think I'm disputing the fact that the B1G sucks. I'm not. I'm suggesting their bowl performances to this point are roughly on-par with expectations.

I say: Ohio State & PSU look like garbage right now because they're in turmoil.

You say: No, they just suck.

I say: Iowa was 7-5 (obviously shit) and landed a 10-win Oklahoma team that spent time at #1 this year.

You say: No, Iowa is just shit.

I mean, that's pretty unflappable logic on your part. I guess you win. :/

You seem to be dodging my question about the Big East/ACC/non-AQs. Why does the Big 10 deserve this special defense?

The other conferences listed don't get it. If anyone tries to do it, they get laughed at, rightfully so. I mean, if I was going to point out that Connecticut landed an Oklahoma team that won their conference last year, and got slaughtered, it would be a stupid point to make. What's the point of making that point? What kind of defense am I offering? That UConn wasn't that bad, they just had the unfortunate instance to draw a better opponent than they merited. That's a terrible argument. UConn, like Iowa, ended up in the bowl game that they did because their conference as a whole sucked. A better conference would have put a better opponent up to face Oklahoma.

Why should your argument get more than, "Look at the bowl record?"

The point is that no matter what, you need to be in the same trash discussion that the BE/ACC gets. No matter what teams you draw or other excuses that get made that I guess somehow don't apply to other conferences.

Even mistake ridden as we are we are just as good a team as USCe. I was merely pointing out that our loss wasn't a result of our conference (as your post stated) but a result of a team that can't execute on a consistent basis.

Now it gets semi interesting since they have to go for 2 on TDs. I hate the fact that they took away PATS and kept in FGs though.

Yeah, nothing really happened at PSU this year to affect their play at all. I don't like the double standards. Scandel happens, they beat OSU, it's "they overcome". Wisconsin gives them a beatdown the next week and it's "let's feel bad for them, scandel, win shouldn't count".

But yeah, B1G is down again for sure. But go MSU. Heaven forbid they beat an SEC team. I'm sure we'll see excuses then. 'Cause the B1G sucks and shouldn't be in bowls, right?
