Imo, you're missing out. They're not inherently awesome, but when cooked right, they're glorious.
I recommend halving fresh sprouts, then adding salt and pepper, and baking them until crispy.

Broccoli is awesome! I made a delicious pasta sauce last night with red onion, basil, mushrooms and fresh cut broccoli.
SOOOO GOOD!
For me the key is baking. It gets nice and crispy, and it remains JUST a little bitter.
We're soul mates. My parents had to call them trees or else I wouldn't eat them.

Made some delicious broccoli dish a few days ago(Penne, steamed broccoli, cherry tomatoes with lemon vinaigrette and garlic).
Then again when I was in the states my host family pretty much only ate broccoli, I got sick of them real quick.

I'm weird. There was never a (legit) food I didn't like, even as a kid.
In fact, there was a time when I was really little, and I wouldn't eat my baby food, and my parents took me to the doctor to find out why.
Doctor was like "This kid doesn't like his shitty puree. Give him some curry. He wants real food!"
He was right. I ate the fuck out of that curry, and I loved every second of it. To this day, I love my parents' cooking more than life itself. If I were to die right now, the only thing I would ask for in heaven is an unlimited supply of my parents' amazing food.
We taught Boney to do it. You can learn. Just use Mibbit, it's web based and super easy to use.

It's super easy. There are tons of tutorials online, but the basics are this:
#name is what is used for channels. (/join #name) will join a channel
@ symbol is given to mods. /whatever is used to issue non chat commands.
It's seriously super easy, and once you get going, you'll wonder how you ever found it confusing.
