The term "slice of life" has nothing to do with realism as far as I understand it. It could still be the cross section of an absurd character's life and be their everyday life. Nichijou is slice of life as fuck but nobody probably has a life of talking sassy black cats or goat suplexing.

talking black cats seems to be an underused anime cliche
i can only think of sailor moon, kikis delivery service and darker than black
and that horror comedy anime that had the amazing dub

Bakemonogatari 6

Hachikuji = OK
Kanbaru = nice spunk, not enough time
Senjougahara = amazing as always
Hanekawa = blahblahblahcarsblah
Ending = so cool

K-ON 6

Wasn't expecting the music video presentation of the festival performance. That was pretty neat. Wasn't expecting the pantyshot either. That wasn't so neat. It was pretty classy as far as these things go, but it's still something I expect more out of a show like Bakemonogatari and would rather not show up here. Hopefully they don't pull that again.

This is when the anime still cared about trying to be "faithful" to the 4koma.

Ghost Stories. The best there ever was.

You got a panty shot? Lucky. All I got was some stupid rice bowl.

All this Bakemono talk makes me hummed Renai Circulation for quite a while. Damn you gaf!

Did anyone here see the kodocha dub?
It's rare the MC VA outperforms the Seiyuu, especially back in the old days when dinosaurs walked the earth and professional dubbing companies screwing up the pronounciations was just par for the course.

Steins;Gate 14

I CALLED IT!

Totally feeling Okabe's frustration here. He's become such an empathetic character over these last few episodes that I'm kind of surprised I just considered him some amusing troll at the beginning of the series. That makes it more effective I guess.

Do you guys collect any of these plush doll things? One of my crazy friends made this for me.
No she doesnt actually blink but that would be keen wouldnt it?

Fate/Zero 5:
Rider is a boss. With every episode this fact is only further cemented. Beyond that, this was a pretty great episode all around, with a lot of characters getting time dedicated to them (including a few who haven't had much air time to date), and a pretty badass standoff/fight. This show continues to deliver the goods.

Agent Aika 4:

Giant space-based super-weapon!
Spaceship battle!
Tentacle-rape armor woman vs. Tentacle-rape armor woman!
Sudden burst of random Resident Evil grotesque!
Blood and gore!
Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Boobs! Pantsu!
And yes, a happy ending!

Wait...this is only episode 4 of 7. You mean to tell me, there's EVEN MORE?!

OMG YES!

Agent Aika 4.5 SPECIAL TRIAL:

A collection of random material.

"Moving": 3 comedy shorts which I suppose bridge the gap between parts 1 and 2 of the series, since I guess episode 5-7 were created after the success of 1-4 in Japan and have a different story.

A bunch of trailers for the first 4 parts.

An anime music video featuring the entire song Silent City ~Aika~, the awesomely awesome first OP for Agent Aika.

All right, onwards to episodes 5-7. It's time for PANTSU!

Princess Tutu 10:

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN FRONT OF THE KIDS OH GOD

And so Ahiru learns that not everything is black and white. In the same train of thought I don't think Mytho is truly in love with Tutu (as hinted by the prologue about Cinderella). It wouldn't surprise me if Ahiru and Fakir ended together, even. They are not that dissimilar in their devotion to Mytho and seem to understand each other very well (even if Ahiru has only been a duck by his side).

Very cheap-looking episode otherwise. Tons of distant shots and not enough dancing for my liking.

Well put. Mayo Chiki! is one of those shows where fanservice feels so natural rather than forced. The quality of the show drops a bit near the end but it's still great. Oh, and it helps that the main character isn't a pansy nor does he spit embarrassing lines.

The impression I get from Mayo Chiki! three episodes in is that it is a fanservice show that knows people are watching for the fanservice. Compare it to, say, ninety percent of harem comedies who try to sell the romance aspect when it's obvious that the people who keep up with it are either for the comedy aspect or the fanservice.

Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu! Pantsu!

Such a great anime. And now I watch it not only for the fanservice, mecha porn and jokes but even for the story!

And the team spirit of the female crew is such an inspiration to me.
This looks like classy fanservice to me!

There are fans of the romance as much as there are fans strictly for the comedy or fanservice.

Ano Hana 7 - 9
