I've just discovered the best thing since sliced bread ... Deadwood with audio commentary from Tim Olyphant and Ian McShane. I can't believe I've had these dvd sets all these years and never noticed this before.

Talking of smiles, I hate how sometimes when you are told to smile for a picture and you come across as an old man/woman without their dentures. Kinda like tucking in your lips.

I hear it's the water.. I'm in San Diego and we have a place called "Bronx Pizza" that imports their water from Ny to get the authentic taste. I have some friends from NY and they gave that place their seal of approval.

That is some of the most ridiculous shit I've ever heard.

I want a Scottish Fold named Bobby Bad Ass or Bubbles Hard Core

yeah they are so cool they need 3 names

I want a Scottish Fold so bad. I will dub him Chairman Meow .2

People who do the fake smile for the camera look so... fake... and kind of crazy and not in a good way. You can tell most of the time if it is a genuine smile or not. Half smile is okay though, the cheese show the full sets of teeth look is extremely awkward most of the time.

I feel the same way. News anchors always look like they're trying to eat your face. O_o

After a thorough analysis of the bakery's water supply, no shrimp were found.

NYC secret pizza ingredient.

Is pizza really that different outside NYC? Kinda makes me afraid to try it elsewhere (besides Italy lol)

yup... I live in CT just next door and most of our pizzas are not so well I dunno the bread tastes funny... must be the water for real

When I lived in Brooklyn loved the stuff, when I lived in the Bronx loved it.

When I lived in Stamford and worked as a pizza delivery driver as a Junior in High School
I would eat it just because the boss wanted us to like his Greco Roman recipe but meh

Most pizza shops they try to advertise as NYC Style pizza

the only pizza I ever loved outside of NYC was on SOUTH BEACH MIAMI

Pizza Rustica
soo guuud (different but soo soo good)

Choice of pizza places isn't too hot in the UK, but I do love the manufactured taste of Pizza Hut (far superior to Dominoes). I went to Florida earlier in the year and had a NY style pizza and it was amazing. So good they call them pizza "pies".

The only chain pizza I like is Papa John's. They give you that butter dipping stuff and the peppers om nom nom.

99.9% of the time though I get it from local shops.

Dave, that's not a CHEEEZE smile. :p You don't look creepy, or fake or scary. :p

I know! some of them look quite scary.

New York pizza is the unhealthiest best, there is no debating this.

Italian pizza -- authentic Italian pizza -- is much different than what you might expect. Anywhere in Europe will serve it much differently.

Chicago-style is overrated. I go to Gino's every year I attend Lollapalooza, as tradition, and get a family size meat lover's pizza for myself. It's alright, but I'm only there because my friends are there.

Guys, just sayin', but I worked at pizza hut back in high school and you do NOT want to know what some of the cooks would do in the back to those pies. For your own safety, don't eat there. -_-

I love checking these places out, to see how close they are to the real thing.

The best "NYC-style" spot I've found was also in Florida, but in Fort Myers. They must be former New Yorkers.

NYC pizza is like Philadelphia Cheesesteak. As far as I'm concerned you can really only get them in their respective cities.

That's the sole reason to order from Pizza Hut.

Nothing beats Lorenzo and Sons in philly though.

Chicago deep dish >>> NY Pizza >>>> crappy pizza chain cardboard. I worked at a pizza hut when I was young...just no.

o.O
I must be eating some weird Pizza Hut cause this doesn't make sense...
Pizza Hut has one amazing pizza I haven't found anywhere else, the one with the seafood mix. Forgot it's name but it has tuna, little shrimp, anchovies and a good mix of cheese, tomato and something else (clam I think?). Never found something similar anywhere else

same could be said for any fast food. I just try not to think about it. At least their "secret ingredients" are organic.
