Damn, did Bargnani steal your girlfriend or something? Dude is basically carrying the Raptors. They have no business being .500.

lol, nah, i got no beef with him. I'm just pointing out he's maybe the worst player to start on an NBA team (though a few others have a case).

If you're 7 foot and you

A. can't help defend.
B. can't defend at all
C. rebound
D. score efficiently.
E. create offense for other players

What use are you?

He's had a decent offensive stretch right now, but regression to the mean will kick in. Toronto has always been worse with Bargs on the floor than not over the years. And by a lot.

Bargs hasn't been that bad this season with Casey and next to Advanced Stat and Magloire

small sample sizes, etc. bynum won't end with a 30 PER, either.

Odom is playing great tonight. I like this play where you have Dirk on the block on the right side, Lamar cutting through the lane and Terry behind the arc on the left side. It forces the defense to make a hard choice in a short amount of time.

Great win for the Bulls, glad to see Boozer and Noah being effective, even if it is against the Pistons. Although, I think the long minutes will take their toll on Rose and Deng, eventually.

Ridnour doesn't deserve that much blame tonight. It's everyone. The Wolves played like garbage, missed free throws, turned it over a ton. They gave the Grizzlies free run outs all night with incredibly stupid decision making and passing.

yeah, typo

you cant have less defense than 0 so he wouldnt hurt that

and hed space the floor enough for the offense to flourish

better than no d and no o lmao

Yes, as we've learned from the Lakers game, you can have less defense than 0.

That's called asshole goal tend. Of airballs. Which the Knicks did twice.

Hopefully Rose's elbow is fine. Had to ice it after the game and I think they took X-Rays. Shouldn't have been playing at that point anyways.

He's clearly not going to keep playing as well as he has, but he seems to be playing a little differently and more effectively this year than in years past with his new coach and maybe some better complements defensively.

Also, where are the Raptor fans who laughed when I said their team was too talented for a top 5 pick? I may end up regretting bringing that back up though...

I like what Ridnour did there, heady play. Almost got away with it too!

Minny should have won this one, they lost their focus halfway through the 4th and gave it away. Oh well.

They didn't deserve to win tonight. Turnovers and free throws continue to plague them. You can't shoot 13-24 at the line and turn it over 17 times and expect to win. Just can't. What a garbage effort.

Demarcus Cousins is the only Kings player with at least two field goal attempts at half to be shooting at least 50%.

Jimmer 1-7, Reke, 3-8, Thronton 5-11, salmons 0-4.

He's still coming off the bench btw. Westphal explained the strting lineup move as he felt Hickson has been outplaying Cousins.

Watching the last few kings games has made me understand completely that cousins has a right to be pissed off, even if he is too immature to express it correctly. Back in the day the way a big man would handle this situation is to tell his guards that he is going to get post position and not move, and it's up to them to get him the ball or get an offensive 3 second. Don't think the media would be favorable to something like that these days, especially from someone with his reputation.

It's not like he wants to be known as the least efficient big man in the league, and this offense doesn't play to his (or anyone on the team really) strengths at all. He always gets the ball on the elbow and is expected to find cutters, only there are no cutters cause no one on this team knows how to move without the ball or utilize a screen.

They'll spend 15 seconds running the most useless ineffectual pick and rolls then dump the ball into cousins in the high post or 10 feet outside the low block with 5 seconds left on the clock and expect him to bail them out.

None of this excuses him shooting like 10% on offensive putbacks at the rim though. I think he is taking the 'don't bring the ball back down on an offensive rebound, just tip it in' big man coaching mantra too seriously. Sometimes you need to grab it with 2 hands and go up strong if you don't have the angle for an accurate tip, you'll at least force a foul, and he is hitting his FTs well this season, so he doesn't need to worry about going to the line.

Knicks are seriously the worst team in the NBA. I don't care what anyone has to say. They are just abysmally bad.

Toney Douglas got boooooooooed the fuck out. Fuck you, Toney. You hack-ass, chucking scrub.

They've beaten Cleveland and an Amar'eless knicks...

Next time someone throws him the ball with 5 seconds left more than 10ft he should just not catch the pass, or throw it straight back to them. I'd refuse to accept it personally.

Yeah but they still had a perfect chance to finish the game in the 4th. Funny enough 2 years ago Memphis used to lose this game all the time, but now they've grown and know how to finish it off ... hell, Conley was the guy you knew would miss the clutch free throws.

Good to see Rubio shooting well in transition, thats his big weakness (if his feet are set, hes money)

TBF, it's not D'Antonis fault. Amnestying billups was such a huge mistake. The team lacks a PG so bad.

Everyone on this team is at fault. 'Antoni for not giving a fuck and fighting for his job instead of laying down and waiting for the axe to drop. Melo and Amar'e for not playing defense. The guys on this team that just stand around and watch. All of it pisses me off.

The knicks FO took away their engine. They left some great bodywork and good wheels, and added the best breaks in the business, but whats the point if it has no motor?

This team needs a KG-level douchebag veteran to whip them into shape. Amare and Melo aren't those guys. Tyson isn't either.

Guys, I had a pretty good laugh when New York gave up all that talent for Carmelo and I told everybody it wouldn't work out. I was then laughed at for making such a crazy claim, mostly by Knicks' fans.

WELL WHO IS LAUGHING NOW?

It wasn't that bad. The pieces they gave up were overrated and Melo's a great player. The problem was pairing him with Amare and letting D'Antoni coach him up.
