Yeah it's good. Starts off slow though. Wish it was a 1 cour show myself.

Cool, because I can't marathon Sailor Moon. It almost hurts sometimes... its good, but I'm only on ep 10 and my body simply can't take it.

For me, marathoning means watching episodes when you're not eating sleeping or working.

Why do the characters look like french fries? I can't tell from the first episode if this will have a decent payoff in the later episodes. Is it worth watching GAF?

It's generic in every way possible. It's not bad, but there's nothing at all that makes it stand out. I gave up after a few eps.

I only marathon certain shows. I actually marathoned Fate Stay Night because I loved it so much.
I have also marathoned Mai Hime, Saikano (I DONT recommend this), Haibane Renmei, and Princess Tutu. I would marathon others if I had time. I will marathon Simoun when I get around to it, and probably Saber Marionette J.

I've been hyped ever since it was announced. What I've read of the manga (the first few volumes so far) is absolutely amazing, and I really hope the anime is great and manages to bring a lot more attention to the series. It's a superb sports manga/coming of age story similar to many of Adachi's series, and it really deserves to be a household name.

(Might have already been mentioned) By the way guys, the eroge Katawa Shoujo was released yesterday (for free). It's been in dev for 4 years or so, and is a collab from some 4chan users and users on other random forums. Apparently it's really good, so do check it out.

I watched Utena for the first time in about 2 or 3 days. It was a good week.

Yeah I cant take in that much cuteness all at once!
Also, I dont really marathon a lot of shows. I watch a few eps at a time and there is a LOT of anime to watch. I have gotten literally years behind on watching shows I want to see.

Honestly I really think you guys take a lot of the fun out of watching this stuff.
Kind of how like gaming side has taken al ot of the fun out of videogames. I dont really understand it. Maybe I just see things more simply. Its hard to enjoy anything when youre nitpicking it all the time.

When I first watched NTHT I didnt even notice any of these supposed glaring errors or story problems or anything. I just saw a story about a kid who gets caught in a fucked up warzone led by a warlord who is crazy like hitler. In that sense I really enjoyed it. I also watched it dubbed, so thats probably why I didnt notice the error posted above.

I guesS I'm blind drunk and stupid then. whatever.

I like this place better when it is posting cute things.

I'm the same with videogames, books, TV etc. Now, there's nothing wrong with having standards or nitpicks or whatever, but there is a difference between finding things about a show/shows you don't like, and actively looking for things to dislike.

I see it on the gaming side too, people actively looking for things to hate about in a game. Being critical and being unable to please are not one and the same thing in my opinion.

Although you lose the fun of being able to enjoy "bad shows" unironically, you do gain the entertainment value from watching and mocking "bad shows" with friends, and convincing other people to watch bad stuff as well to see their reactions.

CCS was a great series. Back when CLAMP wasn't hating on all of humanity, back when they had hearts full of love, not despair and contempt.

I watch a lot of foreign films in order to maintain my image as a pretentious, pseudo-intellectual snob, so I've gotten pretty good at simultaneously eating & watching subtitled entertainments over the years.
