our lives are now complete

I just uploaded my first created story on WWE '12. It's called Punk vs Bryan and can be found using keyword WRASSLEGAF. That is if the download servers are working right for you. Let me know what you think. I have ideas to continue it if it gets downloaded and reviewed enough. It's only on PS3.

Spoilers for those not interested or able to play it:
I basically start with Money In The Bank and have Bryan win the only MITB and Punk win the WWE Championship. Instead of Punk running off with the belt at the end, Bryan is found attacked by an unknown assailant. The attacker turns out to be Evan Bourne. Punk has hired Bourne as an insurance policy against Bryan cashing in. Bourne ends up facing Bryan in a best of 3 series with the final match being 2/3 falls for a shot at Punk's title at Summerslam. Bryan wins the title and becomes the first person to win a championship and still hold MITB.

Other notes: I have Arn Anderson as the GM since the game doesn't have Johnny Ace. I do actually have John Cena re-appear in the storyline and his re-match clause will be addressed in part two, though the main players are Punk and Evan Bourne in a heel stable vs Bryan as babyface.

I think I could continue it with Bryan unifying both belts using the briefcase and eventually having Bryan face Punk one on one in two more matches, ending at Mania.

WWE All Stars is the best WWE game since No Mercy on N64.

All Stars was not better than the Day of Reckoning games.

That said, it was a step in the right direction.

Do they allow you to create three- and four-player stories yet, or will I have to wait a few gens for that?

The Bellas are just walking sex. I hope they continue the Del Rio <--> Bellas alignment when he comes back. More air time in non-match situations please

Just finished the Stone Cold blu ray. It was mighty excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone who has not seen it. In my 30 plus years on this earth, wrestling from 1994-1999 will hold a huge place in my heart as well as my life.

Raw and Nitro made my Mondays. It made school and work tolerable, because I looked so forward to Monday night. Austin, the Rock, Hogan, Hall and Nash as well as HBK, Steiner and many others did more for me than I can express.

It's these feelings that make me continue to watch. I don't want to miss that one magic moment that makes me feel transported to a time when life was much more simpler. I don't want to miss that next big promo, or classic match. Punks promo on RAW last June gave me that feeling again.

I hope if I am blessed enough to have a son one day, that I can sit and share these magic moments with him. God the late 90's wrestling scene was awesome. Sabu, RVD etc.... It was a time that will never be replicated, and we got to enjoy and be a part of magic. Magic that was a once in a lifetime thing. We were so lucky to be around to enjoy that time.

Let us never forget. I know I will carry those memories with me for ever.

What I also liked about the new Austin BD/DVD was the fact that they didn't make it PG and edit all the scenes that made the Austin character. You should all buy this instead of WWE 12. :P

I thought Bragging Rights was confirmed to return for the June PPV?

I haven't watched any matches yet, but the flipping was uncensored during the documentary. The rating for the BD/DVD is TV-14 also.

Oh awesome, buying. I was thinking that there was gonna be at least a minute of footage of fingers and logo censored that would cover half the screen. What does the doc part cover? Any Stunning Steve stuff? I've heard that its the best doc yet from WWE

All Stars was not better than the Day of Reckoning games.

The Day of Reckoning titles were good, and certainly better than any Smackdown vs Raw title, but WWE All Stars definitely has them beat on every level.

There was just no flow to the matches in the DoR games and I hated the wacky "one move can hit everyone in a 5 mile radius" collision detection. Also, awful story modes.

so anyone have a gif of the little girl in the Jericho videos going from smiling to miz girl face?

The documentary is pretty much covers his entire career including his Stunning Steve gimmick. I really haven't watched a lot of WWE documentaries, but I think this one is way too awesome for a wrestling fan to pass up.

I hope they make an All Stars sequel. It just needs more customization and match types. I want to be able to disable the knockout feature and just win with a pin. The game is really solid. It really exposed how little effort is put into the SvR games.

too awesome to pass up?

I bought 3 different Stone Cold DVDs...What? Stone Cold Truth and The Legacy. On top of renting the VHS tapes Cause Stone Cold Said So and Austin 3:16 50 times. How much more could they put in this latest DVD that wasn't in all of these?

No idea if the All Stars team is working on UFC games though.

EDIT: OH GOTDAMMIT, I found it. RBH actually posted it in the November Thread. CLICK

Looks like we won't get All Stars 2 in 2012 at any rate. I do wonder if that means they're taking Yuke's off UFC though. Maybe we're getting an over the top UFC game coming our way.

yeah...like a lot of that stuff was on Legacy Of and What..well the matches are and the HoF stuff.

I'm just getting to watch Smackdown....
Drew getting fired on Smackdown is a big wtf since you know...he was drafted to Raw in the last draft.

So, Big Show was drafted to Raw and Kane was on Smackdown but because they had the tag title, they could float as long as they had the belts.

On the theory that Raw can use Smackdown talent for "super shows" why the fuck is Big Show on Smackdown and Kane hasn't been on Smackdown since coming back?

I use to love the brand split because it kept those guys on the same show and actually built up great ppv storylines and great tv matches when the other brand had a ppv that week. Remember the awesome RVD/Taker match where RVD won the title then some dumb shit happened and he lost it? That was a Smackdown ppv week!

I think the next time WWE holds a draft, the fans should protest that shit.

If you want to point to a reason why WWE is horrible today vs. 10 years ago, it's not the PG rating, it's the lack of giving a fuck about guys. WWE has been on a downhill slide ever since they ended the brand split ppvs. With a proper build up to a ppv match and actually getting on the ppv, half of these guys like Trent Beretta would have time on tv to build a personality.
