Yep. Mossflower was boss, too. Martin the Warrior was pretty damn cool. The Bellmaker was good stuff. Salamandastron was great.

Pearls of Lutra was the one where my affection, or confidence in the merits of the book, faded slightly.

Can't honestly blame the hares for over-eating. So much goddamn food and so invitingly described. It's like a gigantic whirlwind of butter, cordial, fruit, cake.
 
We talking Nightmares? The movie Ticks gave me a crazy nightmare as a kid. I remember waking up thinking there were those giant ticks all over my floor and I ran into my parents room and jumped on the bed crying hysterically. Fuck that shit. Lol

Anyway, Brian Jacques' books were very good for its time. I've always wondered why there weren't any film adaptations.
 
I don't have much that scared me as a kid. However, this episode of Eerie Indiana MESSED ME UP for awhile. I couldn't sleep for thinking about it. Someone else's body part inside you controlling you. What a terrifying thought.

There was a TV cartoon, though I've only seen a few episodes of that.
 
Nothing really scared me that much, but I used to watch a lot of "Monsters and Myths" style shows and one time they were talking about a Banshee and how seeing one means you're going to die soon.

And this super scared me as a kid.

I found out years later it's because the actress they got to play the banshee used to babysit me. So I was convinced I was going to die because I had seen it before.

Pearls of Lutra was probably one of my favorites when I was a kid, mostly because of the villain. There weren't many who could go toe to toe with Martin like he did.
 
Insomnia ridden here as well, it's 12:12PM here and I still haven't slept... Dozed off for less than an hour and I just woke up, think because the sun was pouring in right at my face through the drapes. >_<

PS. Salazar, is that you in your avatar or some celebrity? Gotta know for the RPav.zip. :p I'll go out on a limb and say no, but I could be wrong.

I have this reoccurring dream ever since I was a child. I'm being chased by a trex in the streets. I'm running so fast, I start elevating myself into the air. Next thing I know, I'm up in the skies. I start to slowly descend, but the trex is waiting below with its mouth wide open. I land on top of the trex's mouth, but my legs are spread apart to stand on top of its teeth so I don't get chomped on. I get off and the chase begins all over again. Sorta a nightmare but I always get a sensation when I'm in the air. This was before watching the Jurassic Park movies btw!

I'm pretty sure that was shanadeus' real pic. Corscrew screwed me, thought it was just another female gaffer, sine tbh there are equally and more attractive female RPavs then that. Oh and eatchildren=error.





Anyone wanna take a wild guess at how many female-gaffer RPs there are out of the 570+? Too bad it seems all the girl-gaffers went to sleep, would've liked to see their guesses.

If you're reading shannadeus, I didn't really mind our debates, but just reading through the black culture thread, you got done for justifiably good reasons it seems like.

While we're talking about bans, does anybody know what happened to zephyrfate? apparently he is perma-banned too.

Actually, I'm more interested in Zephy's fate than shans tbh... we kept telling zephyr not to venture far out from the writing threads... :P

Did a backwards search on here avatar and all that came up was this; http://lifeofnaffe.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html Which I can't access since it's blocked from where i'm at.

Anyway, i'm more interested in nib95, knew him since forever and just talked to him the other day, now apparently banned, though I couldn't find out why exactly. Weird, hope it's not perma.

Actually everyone is, though I wouldn't be surprised if there was some bias selectiveness going on there, lol. It's the only way to fill up a 1100+ tile space with 570+ pics; multiple copies.

NIb'll be fine. Never really says stuff out of line; zeph on the other hand... :P shall we say, he has a way with words... which works brilliantly in stories, but not so good in other circumstances...

That blog is Swedish, and I think Shan said something about Sweden several times. Though a quick glance reveals nothing about games.. so who knows... But I'm gonna leave it there. It's his/her private life, and I have no interest in putting my nose in any further.

edit: btw detective gaf is too good for its own good sometimes. :P

A lot of them seem split between the top and bottom one, like me and the Count are in the top one but not the bottom.

On a different note, who the heck has the creepy Woody avatar in the bottom row of the top one?
