lakers still can't stop making unforced errors all game long. That's somehow where missing Lamar hurts, I guess.

Defense has been good, but I haven't seen him do much in the way of shot creation. Passes look crisp at least.
Passing has been streaky. Seems to have gotten better as of late. 1-handed passing in the first few games lacked speed and got turned over a lot.
In terms of shot creation, I don't know how much of that is on him. Still a rebuilding team.

Rubio still manages while working with guys like Tolliver and Ellington.
I've been watching him, almost exclusively. He looks pretty ordinary. He also took some pretty bad shots towards the end of the half but that's to be expected from a rookie.
Even with Ellington just now coming around, I'm still not all that happy about the decision to draft Henderson instead of trading down that year. We needed outside shooting bad during that time and Henderson is just now starting to come around to the idea of shooting beyond 15 ft.
Rubio is the real deal. Norris Cole without a jumpshot. Why doesn't he start already?

Irving has taken a lot of shots tonight with no luck (3/8 and 0/2). He only has 2 assists right now. That might be part of the problem.
Caspi and varejao need to stop taking shots from that far away.

Yeah, I think Wayne needed to play with a real point guard. He didn't look great with Rambis asking him to try and create for himself the last 2 years, but he looked solid with Rubio getting him clean looks today. He would have been good in Charlotte.

these fucking TOs. Shouldn't be close to a 10 point game, but they keep just giving the ball away with no pressure at all. Their decision making on some of these passes is mind boggling. How do they think the angle for the pass is even there?
