CUSA finished the bowl season 4-1

Could have been 5-0 if Tulsa didn't blow it in the last seconds vs BYU

Hopefully we will get some respect in 2013 when everything changes. Praying the BCS will be gone and we can get a playoff system.

I'll be letting Skyrim suck another few hours out of my life.

I want LSU to win, but I don't really care either way. That shoulda been ME stuffing myself to the gills with amazing food in NOLA this week. ME!

USC RB Amir Carlisle transfers to Notre Dame.

Hey look! A head coach allowed a player to transfer to a major rival without being douchey about it!

Corey Grant Transferred to Auburn from Alabama [/EXTRA INFO TROLL]

I'm going to be playing Skyrim too! I was planning on leaving the game on my other monitor but then I remembered that Brent will be calling the game so if I did it would be on mute and I'd probably miss the big plays as I get engrossed in Skyrim.

edit: LSU by 6 (13-7)

THIS ONE'S FOR ALL THE ALLSTATES [/MUSBURGERED]

I kinda want to watch LSU win, because I'd like to imagine what is going on in the house of the high school kid who comitted to Bama and his LSU fan mom.
Not to dissuade you from your preference, but they don't live together.

I tried Skyrim. I did. I just couldn't get into it. That shit seemed more like work than fun.

Speaking of work, I calculmalated that last week I spent 38 hours in my car, 38 hours in the office or meeting with clients, and another 5 hours in an airport/on a plane. Dats one long ass week.

Cade Foster is still your kicker [/Special Teams Troll]

Yeah, I googled it. [Ignorance of Roster Troll]

Only for field goals longer than 38 yards or so! Our other kicker is actually pretty decent!*

*relatively speaking

Punting from the 35 yard line [/Resigned to forever suck in Special Teams Play Troll]

Gonna use Jeremy Shelley to kick field goals[/Bing, BITCH]

You saved some time by eating yourself, right mre? [/awkward worded comment troll]

Penn St is apparently trying to hire away UCF's new defensive coordinator and former Auburn DC Ted Roof. Let's see what happens with that....

I wouldn't worry.

A month from now they'll be turned down by the 20th name on their list, and default to just looking for someone, anyone, who's desperate for a job.

I just want to go home and watch Alabama win tonight [/Please God, bring back Frankenberry Cereal]

I wish. I think I'm on the "work through lunch" diet right now. :p If only there were some sort of easily portable, delicious, and nutritious meal I could eat where ever I happened to be.

If I were UCF and George O'Leary I would let him go.

Yeah, but in this case, their new HC has connections with GOL (worked under him) and Ted Roof. So there is some history there. Plus UCF's athletic depertment is a complete mess right now. Although obviously, Penn State's situation makes UCF look like a bed of roses.

Saw ESPN put up a blurb about GOL being a quiet developer of head coaches along with Joe Pa, Saban, Bill Snyder a couple others, btw.

Edit: As for Roof. I think there is potential there. And I don't want to see him go simply for the fact we just hired him like a month ago and he has been hitting recruiting hard. We don't need anymore instability - otherwise this 2012 class is more than likely shot for good.

And THAT is why I'm determined not to be a real lawya. Title work or bust for this C student!

Hopefully the money's good for you, though.

You can only buy Frankenberry in October.

It is. I'm making more money at my firm than both my wife (teacher) and I (contract attorney) were making together.

Not every week will be that crazy, and I am working from home today, which is nice.

And, I should also add, that I get to help people that got royally fucked, so on top of the money, I get warm fuzzies and positive karma!

Hey, good for you.

If you can make money as an attorney and not do monotonous/soul-crushing/morally reprehensible work, that's pretty awesome.

My main goal at this point is just to make sure law school was a sound financial decision and increase my earning power. So far so good.

Really, a Southern law firm. Making more money that you were making before.

Do you ever run dramatically through the rain?

Roll call time! How many non-SECSECSEC peeps are actually planning to watch the ridiculous joke of an exhibition game tonight? (push poll!)

It's ok, you can admit it if you are.

I'm gonna go see Mission Impossible.

Not this guy. I'll be playing MW3 all night.

Damnit.

OK. Now I want LSU to win because I dislike Saban's face.

It can be done! You only have 1 semester left, right?

Not yet. Give me time!

Do all southern lawyers have to know John Grisham's complete set of work, or just the highlights? During contract negotiations, have you heard anyone shout "YES THEY DESERVED TO DIE!"?

I do pro bono work right now. So I am using my law degree and its not soul crushing. I might even see the inside of a courtroom! (in the good way.)

Damnit.

In a perverse way, I want Bama to win so that Saban will again realize that not even ungodly sums of money and the highest level of success in his profession (coaching a game, no less) can raise him above the pathetic depths of his obvious personal misery and self-loathing.

Nope, I've been out and licensed for since May of 2010, and I'm still doing land and mineral title work. It's good shit, and it can eventually lead to a really good gig doing title opinions for oil companies.

That's the current plan, at least.

You know, that phrase came up in two classes. Profession responsibility and Family Law.

Saban turned LSU into the team they are today. Whichever team wins, Saban doesn't lose!

LSU to win because...more boobies?

For some odd reason, I just imagine LSU students more apt to lift up their shirts.

Are you going to have sex with a female judge?

I meant not as a defendant.

Uhm...you know, I've never run into a female judge here in Chicago. I'm sure they are there. I just haven't seen/met any.

I actually tried to read one of Grisham's books after I started law school (my wife bought it for me), but I only got about 4 chapters into it before I lost interest.

Right on. I remember now that you and I were fellow bar sufferers. :p

Yeah, studying for the bar was literally the most stressful period of my life.

Glad I passed, though. Don't think I could have forced myself to prepare for it again.

Which is why I was stoked to get this job. I did not want to take the NC bar. Nope. No sir.

But I would have. :(
