Love how the announcers are blowing their load over this kid hitting a 44 yarder like it's some massive accomplishment for a kicker. Only in the SEC.

still only 2 touchdowns and a 2 pt conversion down

The problem is that some thought OkSt. should have been in place of Bama, no one thought LSU should have been the team replaced.

OkSt., by virtue of them beating Stanford, should be playing Bama next week to declare the championship. This system sucks.

What about Oregon? They blew out Stanford on the road by 23 and jut beat Wisconsin?

Point is we need an 8 team playoff.

To be fair, McCarron has played a pretty good game, their redzone offense just kinda sucks. Someone has to make a play.

This.

Oklahoma State and Boise would have scored at least 1 TD on Bama.

And they would have score four TDs at least against this LSU defense. So many wide open receivers...Brandon Wheeden would've had a field day.

And I say that as someone who has nothing against either team in this game, and never believed in OSU until around Week 11. Not just because I hate them as a rival either.

It is kind of a shame that our greatest QB ever and one of the greatest WRs in CFB history won't get a chance against one of these defenses.

LSU is defeated, they have no EMOTIONAL ENERGY.

Then again on the radio on my drive home they said Jefferson was moping on the side line and Lee was trying to fire the team up.

Completely agree, 8 team playoff would be amazing, especially the way the other 6 teams (Oregon, OkSt, Stanford, Wisconsin, Boise, some other team) played in their bowl games.

I discounted Oregon based on losing twice in the regular season but would definitely include them in the 8-team scenario.

I'd take Oregon in the rematch with LSU.

I'd take USC to beat both Bama and LSU.

USC was the best team at the end of the season.
