In this chapter, the MC figures out how to make, and use, a gun out of magic. He is, of course, quite powerful. There's also a bit of a magic lesson. Apparently if mages mess up and lose control of their magic they can turn into mindless, destructive monsters, such as the ones the group is fighting. (I think I've heard this before...
) This doesn't seem to bother the MC much though, he only cares about his goal. Decent chapter.

Beach episode! And the three main girls have their birthday party, too. Miyu once again mentions how Shirou looks exactly like her brother, and adds that she was separated from her brother after her father's death some years back; she was taken overseas after that and only recently returned, and doesn't know where her brother is.
Of course, Shirou was adopted by Iliya's parents after his father died. I'm sure this is all a complete cooincidence, right?
(Technically possible, but very unlikely I expect...)
Apart from that, they do the usual beach episode stuff, pretty much. Bazett's there too; apparently Luvia managed to not only stick her with the entire bill for the destruction of her mansion (of course, it WAS Bazett's fault that fight started, so it's fair, probably), she got all of Bazett's credit cards cancelled too, so she's selling overpriced icecream bars at the beach. Heh. At the end though Luvia and Rin appear... will there be a fight? Come back next chapter!

This is a pretty good series indeed. It's got a good cast (and lead character), but the best part are all of the imaginative places they visit, as they explore the seas... there's some pretty cool stuff here. In this chapter for instance, they're on a floating island where the people all catch shooting stars which give them wishes. Most of the characters get arrested, but don't worry, Mio can save them.

Do you not know Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Iliya? It's a Fate/Stay Night spinoff manga starring Iliya. It's in an alternate universe where things are happier than the main series -- so Iliya and Shirou's parents are alive and living with them, etc. She becomes a magical girl after Rin and Luvia fight so much that their magical rods run off and find other girls who they think deserve the powers more. Good stuff. The first series is short, but the second one's already longer than the first one (including interlude/bonus/etc. chapters the first one is just 14 long, while this is 28 already and not over), and hopefully won't end soon either... it's good. Fun stuff.
Miyu is a new character for this manga, a somewhat (but not entirely) emotionless girl who has the other magic rod and thus is Iliya's magical girl partner.

So I caught up on Cage of Eden. These kids are fucking idiots. First they see a biohazard sign, okay fine that's not too extreme, inside this room they find HAZMAT suits, and an air shower. Now. Instead of wearing the hazmat suits, they just saunter into the area past the air shower. Who knows what bacteria could be floating around?? I mean come on!

Looks like Yui is a big breasted loli, as Arata so concisely described. Here comes the onii-chan route. I like the bit about how your thema opposing your personality so magic is the idea of going against your common sense. Basically, you have to fight your persona so ninja is fighting her issue with expectations. Arata must be fighting some idea of control with his rule thema.
The important part however was Arata's successful manipulation of his grimoire. He had to over-come the newly informed risk of being eaten by a demon when overusing magic.

The Shonen Jump Alpha manga reader is pretty nice (though if I can figure out how to full size it). A shame Im not caught up on Bakuman nor Toriko in it. I hope they continue to bring out an issue every week until its premiere end of this month.

This volume broke up the level of weird and also the level of depressing I get from the past ones.
Between Punpun masturbating under the rain, Punpun's mother wanting to masturbate in her hospital bed after she fell in love with a 16 years old (which would seem Punpun's old friend? somehow), the revelation about what really happened in the first volume between Mrs and Mr Onodera (she's a crazy bitch), the relationship between her and Punpun (until this volume I didn't really got that she hated her son and her son hated her).
In one word, weird.

This, too, was weird, but for different reasons. It was good too. My first time reading something by Samura, and I'm not disappointed.

We have a new quiet type girl for the harem who tries to bait Raishin (MC) with a porn mag to catch him in a cage. I agree with this method. She's supposed to be his opponent at the night party, which sounds like some orgy event. There is a bunch of chatter and then her brother shows up all pissed. She is called weak and he goes to beat the hell out of her. Uh-huh... So Raishin is like nope and Yaya (doll) blocks it.

Well, on the plus side the arrow keys let you easily move from page to page. On the minus side...there's no fullscreen, page loading seems a bit slow, and the page interface at the bottom is a little too minimal.
Still very interesting as a service since it also works via their iPad app, though. I wonder if they will region block IPs.

Negima is 80% shit, 20% foreshadowing.

Arata doing what he does best. Being awesome in almost every possible way. I'm surprised that Levi has a thing for Arata herself. (she's definitely a bisexual, which makes her character more interesting too) my only issue with Trinity 7 is that the chapters move along slowly and it should really be a weekly manga... or at least a monthly manga that releases on schedule :/
