I assume you've also watched Sengoku Basara eh?
I'm thinking more along the lines of 12 episodes. Having the show run for a standard year just seems like the logical thing.

The start of the tournament was handled well. I wish we got to see a little bit more of it, but there were some great character moments throughout the episode, and Chihaya struggled a bit rather than just dominating. Taichi also showed off some great leadership skills in the latter part of the episode.

The girls in that show are like, what, 12? At least the second part of Bunny Drop ends with Rin as an adult woman.
Can't say it's terribly unexpected, but Sentai's licensed Zero no Tsukaima F for release later this year.
Akino songs are great.

It's an Ikuhara recap episode, which is better than most regular anime episodes.

Interesting show. It's got a very nice creepy/horror atmosphere, the sound and music were used very well in that regard(well except for the OP), although I think they really beat you over the head with it at times. The quick cuts to doll faces were totally out of place and did nothing for me. I'm also not sure I like how everyone is almost too mysterious, particularly the students, its a bit annoying. Felt a bit forced like "hey look pay attention, everyone is really creepy, did you notice?" Visually its what we've come to expect of PA Works, lots of cg etc etc, but they have certainly improved since Angel Beats. There are some moments when the art takes a turn for the ugly, but its a good look.
Overall it was a good start for the show and the subject matter is right up my alley. Looking forward to the next one.

And see, this is exactly what I was expecting from the Gold Saint battles. Intense, strategic, acknowledging the inability to win by conventional means, a merciless villain, advantage shifting, etc. It doesn't change the fact the Bronze Saints have just been scraping by, but that's fine because it actually felt like a legitimate win and not an empty one where the opponent either gave up, wasn't using his full strength, or couldn't use his full strength because he wasn't really there.
I hope the coming fights are as cool as this, but maybe with the Bronze Saints actually showing some progression.
Let's just say I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I think "Listen girls,I'm not your Fathar" it should be enjoyable or at least a guilty pleasure since it's by the author of Mayoi Neko Overrun.
It's gintama in high school,of course it would be enjoyable.

I know, I know. It's my own damn fault for watching it knowing full well what to expect but my curiosity got the better of me. I kind of wanted to stop five minutes into the damn thing but I also wanted to see how many of the usual beats they could manage to cram into the first episode. Suffice to say, I lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes at the proceedings on display.
I wondered how in the hell could someone manage to crank out 6 different spinoffs out of this shit but then I realized I don't really want to know.

Every time there's a discussion between Kirei and Gilgamesh, it results in awesomeness. Kirei is really rivaling Rider as my favorite character in the series. I'll be frank Uchip. Arguing with you is the worst thing when talking with you. You're more listenable when you don't tend towards your proclivity to engage in an argument because of how you participate in one. It's like a separate exercise from the actual discussion at hand.

I regret watching all those previews of Daily Lives of Highschool Boys now, because to me half the episode was basically a retread of what I've already seen, didn't make them any less funny on the re-watch, and the parts I didn't see were glorious.

It was consistantly funny throught the whole episode which I couldn't really claim for any Nichijou episode. Including the episodes I actually liked.
