Former Chiefs HC Todd Haley visiting Jets today. Jets could team Tony Sparano as OC, Haley as asst HC, to repace Brian Schottenheimer.

Patriots-Jets rivallry grows with McDaniels vs Haley if this happens. Fun.

So the Patriots aren't up for best receiving corp? I mean if it includes tight ends then LOL.

They only had the guy with the most catches and most receiving yards by a tight end ever.

;)

My prediction of Tebow winning the Superbowl and Congress making an amendment in the constitution to make him Emperor of America (and thereby the world) doesn't look so crazy now.

One down Timmy 3 more to go!

He has endorsed underwear and Nike products, autograph shops and his favorite charities. Now Republican candidates are angling for Tim Tebow to pick one of them.

The Broncos' quarterback told The Associated Press on Monday — a day after leading Denver to a heart-stopping win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the NFL playoffs — that several candidates had reached out to him for endorsements.

"I think you have to have so much trust in who you support, just from product endorsements to endorsing a candidate, because if that person or company does something, it reflects on you," he said.

The extremely religious former Florida quarterback has been especially popular among candidates seeking the evangelical vote, to portray themselves as the comeback kid in the 2012 primaries or cash in on Tebow's skyrocketing popularity.

I think Madonna will try to seduce him at the Super Bowl.

Interesting to see Gruden sticking in Cincinnati. That's a huge win for them, though I'm guessing the tales of loyalty to the organization are a little overblown. More likely he didn't want to compete with Chud for "hot new offensive guru" hire.

So is Batchagaloop Jones going to be starting for the Giants?

Any chance we get to see the Nigerian Prince this weekend as well? Would be so glorious

I assume he'll play quite a bit, he's their nickel back right? With their front four against our passing game i expect to see extra defensive backs more often than usual. I don't know what the fuck batchagaloop means!

What's with your hard-on for the Bengals recently?

Jets Players rip Sanchez

"We have to bring in another quarterback that will make him work at practice," one player told the newspaper. "He's lazy and content because he knows he's not going to be benched."
"How can we when he's not improving at all?” one player said. “He thinks he is, but he's not. He has shown us what he's capable of."

also

“Come on. That's a no-brainer," the source told the Daily News. "If you have a chance to get a healthy 36-year-old Peyton Manning and you don't do it, then you're stupid. If I could get a healthy 36-year-old Peyton Manning, then, hell yeah, I would trade Sanchez."

I happened to listen to local radio on my drive this morning for a few minutes and caught that bit. I also really, really like their young group. They do a lot of interesting things on both sides of the ball. I think they'll be one of the best teams in the AFC next year, I want to establish it now so I get the cred in 2012 (or the Welli loves the Rams type jabs!).

That division is going to be eminently winnable for the next few years.

RE: Batchagaloop - I think it's funny but I can't stand Carton. He's been such a miserable fuck all year regarding the Giants. He did the same constant bashing shit a few years ago with the Yankees and I'm assuming that CBS brass told him to cut the shit since WCBS 880 carries the games. After the Jets lost to the Giants he's been insufferable.

On the Prince of Zamunda, Rolle is actually our nickel guy. Ross will play. I expect the Packers to spread us out, so Prince will see some playing time, as he'd be our Dime.

Wellie what's the deal with those concussed dudes?

Ross and some LB I think?

Sounds like Ross is fine and will be playing. The other player was RB DJ Ware. I haven't heard too much on his condition yet, but he's our third RB so it's not really a huge deal one way or the other.

Yeah, but like all Bengals fans she doesn't particularly care much so long as Mike Brown is around. We have season tickets but haven't gone to a game in like three years.

This is a Packers house motherfucker.

Nice Packers kido. She'll forever have to make the TD sign for you.

I'm assuming you live fairly close to Cinci though? My brother went to UC and is a big fan. My brothers and I were all born in upstate NY, but really grew up in the Dayton, OH area.

This. And I actually think DJ Ware is important for those shotgun draws that will be called about 20 times.

PackerGAF - What's the status on Bulaga, your C, and anyone else on the line ?

Sounds like everyone except Collins is a go pretty much.

Milwaukee to Boston to Indiana (between Cincy and Indy). That's my life story.

I appreciate that he sees his fair number of snaps, but I don't think he does anything that Bradshaw can't easily fill in for with his skillset.
