One time he commented on his best friend who he grew up with has seen more anime than me, and I didn't know whether to take it as an insult or in someway a compliment. I seriously doubt his friend has seen more than me, and he has a distinct bias in this case.
But his friend has probably seen everything on Cartoon Network, which is how you know he's serious.

Nunnally in Wonderland announced! Some time in 2012 they will be releasing a book+blu-ray (and book+DVD) package which contains a 40 page storybook along with video footage featuring an original story in the Code Geass universe. It features Nunnally and is inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Takahiro Kimura is overseeing this project.

Here's a summary of upcoming Code Geass products:

- Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (Anime)
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Stage Play
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Musical Play
- Nunnally in Wonderland (Storybook)
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Pachislot
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Social Game (Mobile game)

There is one more panel for something not revealed yet, but I'm reading from the people who were at the event that they announced a movie project for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. It is not known if they are compilation movies or a remake or something else at this point of time.

A Geass Lelouch + R2 movie would be pretty awesome if it ever happened. I would wonder what they would choose as most important to the movie and for a consolidation of the series.

I hear the theme song for Akito the Exiled is "More Than Words", sung by Maaya Sakamoto, composed by Yoko Kanno, with lyrics by Iwasato Yuho.

Diebuster 4

Alright, this was a game changer.
I love the look of this anime, I even saw some stuff that looked directly out of Gunbuster in here which was awesome! Also the huge Topless worm...those are the creatures humans were fighting in Gunbuster right? Same weird worm/bug theme and, if they are one in the same, that is fucking AWESOME. Amazing way to tie the two series together. Nono is a Gunbuster, what da heel, that's pretty cool. Twins getting their shit stomped was awesome as well.

Wait you marathoned both series in one night?

You are a true hero.

Oh god I meant episode 4, not 6 :P. I'm gonna finish the last two in the morning, love having a whole day off of work with school still more than a week away! But on Diebuster, do you know the answer to my question? Or is that yet to be revealed?

What is Code Geass Soubou no Oz?? :o

Edit: This was taken at the event earlier. They're making Robot Damashii figures for both mechs in the picture (the red one is a Lancelot variant) so... what is it?

The hell, did people immediately start guessing filenames for the last image or something? I mean, it was just "http://geass.jp/img/card_oz.png", but still...

Rinne no Lagrange 1

Nice to watch a show with a MC who's pretty cheerful and gung-ho about the bizzare events they've managed to find themselves caught up in. The OP was trippy as fuck. I'm looking forward to more.

No, it's in the source code. They just commented it out. :P

Edit: I love the way the mech looks in Akito. I really, really do.

Boy Nichijou was pretty damn boring up until the last segment, but they killed it there.

I almost stopped watching during the opening segment though as it looked like it'd be another WACKY show trying way too hard, glad I didn't.

The show would be way better with more of the last segment and less of the shit at the beginning. Hopefully that's the direction it goes in as I really wanna enjoy this.

Just read a scoop on the Code Geass conference. Apparently Akito will be played by Miyu Irino, and Layla will be played by Maaya Sakamoto. There's a theatrical event planned in Summer 2012 where they will premiere it.

Oh god. More Code Geass in my life. With Maaya. Truly a fabulous day.

The Lelouch of the Rebellion project will be about
Lelouch and CC after the events of R2, where CC plays the role of Horo and Lelouch is Lawrence.

EVRYTHING'S OK!
Nanako being adopted is the most random plot twist I've ever seen.

It was nice seeing everything wrap up nicely! Had tons o' fun throughout the entire duration of the show, the few episodes after
SAINT JUSTE SAMA'S DEATH ;_;
were the weakest ones.

One year older Nanako is so HNNNNNGGGG.

--------------

I still don't know if I should start Violinist of Hameln or Rose of Versailles next. I'll probably have to go with the latter, since I need more of Riyoko Ikeda's Fabulous Max...

The official Code Geass blog has posted a summary of the press conference earlier today: http://geass.at.webry.info/201201/article_1.html

Here's what they announced in detail:

1. The main voice cast for the upcoming Akito the Exiled anime, along with a 90 second trailer.

2. Code Geass social game for the Mobage mobile phone platform. It features School and Knight missions.

3. Storybook+OVA format Nunnally in Wonderland spin-off product.

4. Code Geass stage play details. It takes place between episodes 9 and 10 of the first Code Geass series.

5. Code Geass musical stage play.

6. Code Geass Soubou no Oz project. It is a serialized print project which will run in both Hobby Japan and Newtype Ace magazines, and feature new Knightmare Frames which will also be released as figures. (I presume this will be similar to the stuff that Gundam shows usually get, with variants featured in short stories and photos for Hobby Japan, and maybe a manga running in Newtype Ace.)

7. A Code Geass Pachislot machine will be released by Sega Sammy.

8. The producers of Code Geass are in the planning stages for a "dream project" which they hope they can eventually release. It is a.... movie version of Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion. (The way this is worded sounds like a live action Code Geass movie lol.)

That's crazy. Although I'd like to see zero's fruity hand gestures in live action, could you even condense geass into a movie that made sense? :O
