Well the first Rumble is on the schedule, 1989 - Hacksaw won it. Unless you're referring to an earlier version that wasn't PPV-ized.

Nah, Hacksaw Jim Duggan won the first one. Ricky Steamboat wrestled Rick Rude in the opening match (not a terribly good match, Rude works a camel clutch for about seven straight minutes and I thought my mind was going to explode from boredom).

Thanks. I remember watching it but I thought Tito Santana won it. I do remember watching Big John Studd winning the first PPV.
