NFL 2011 Divisional Round |OT| Jesus cast flag merchants, rapists out of His temple

Wait, other Dolphins fans are really upset we didn't get Fisher? I'm perfectly fine missing out on him.

Honestly, Fisher feels like a "safe" hire, but not a good hire. I'm sure he could improve the team, and overall we may be more competitive year to year, but I don't see Fisher making us an excellent team that contends for the playoffs year in and year out again. I'd much rather roll the dice on a hot prospect than a retread. Maybe other Dolphins fans are so hard up for some success that any sign of improvement is welcomed, but it isn't enough for me. A decade of sucking just leaves me feeling like we deserve a lot fucking more.

Not only do I want to see playoff football again, I want to watch exciting football each and every Sunday again. That's something Fisher definitely would not bring here.
You're probably right but it still feels like a downer for some reason. It's probably just because of how the media has been following it and reporting on it. All of that said, I am kind of tired of "rolling the dice on a hot prospect." That hasn't been working out too well lately. Miami is apparently where hot coaching prospects go to cool off.

Huh? Are you being ironically prophetic? Those comments were just made two days ago.

This

No. He said something like this a few weeks ago. It was all over the news and shit.

Yeah, he was bitching then, he's bitching now. He's a bitch.

Reading that article he comes across as more of a baby than he did when I saw the actual video yesterday(?)... the video made the comments seem pretty lighthearted.

I saw the video, and I thought he was being a baby. Even if he was trying to be lighthearted, the fact that he even says it shows that's how he feels, and it's really sad.

Alright, looks like the only other team looking at Chud is the Bucs and...

Hopefully we've dodged a bullet.

But lol at the final two for the Bucs including Childress.
lol

There's no way Childress wins that matchup. No way. Not in a million years. Never gonna happen.

Just have to get through today. Fucking Friday the 13th.

That Tebow article...

Why not keep Ted Bowles?

Tim Tebow has revealed that he has a vice!

No vices?

"Nope," he says.

Tebow pauses, racking his snow-cap-covered head to come up with something.

"Love ice cream," he says. "I let myself have that about once a week. Vanilla."

Tebow giggles. OK, he admits, maybe occasionally he will take the pleasure of adding a brownie with his ice cream, which is a healthy version, he says, because it is homemade.

:O

Squiken must be overjoyed running down the streets naked screaming Fisher his name.

Well I never get too excited on these thing. I think he's an excellent coach, but we'll see what the exact division on personnel is. If he's got final say, which I'm sure he does, then that's a potential problem. Best teams draft and develop, but too many coaches just don't have patience to play rookies. Also need to see who he is hiring for OC

Mike martz oc, Gregg Williams DC.

Great hire by kroenke, can't wait for next season.

You think the Dolphins have a good shot at RG3? I'm hoping they'll be smart enough to pick up a QB but I'm not holding my breath.

im seeing RGIII go in the top 8 they got a shot

JAX
CLE
STL
MIN
IND
WAS

are the teams with shittier records so MIA should be in the next crop with the Bills, Chiefs, and Panthers.

Id be scratching my head if the Skins dont pick up RGIII though...

How did Dungy build the Bucs? Derrick Brooks, Warren Sapp, and John Lynch were drafted by Sam Wyche. He also was responsible for the signing of Hardy Nickerson. Dungy won with Wyche's team.

maybe he means helped them develop as players, he was known around the league for his defensive knowledge

Redskins would definitely take him if he is there at #6. I wouldn't even be surprised if they traded up in front of the Browns to make sure Holmgren doesn't get him.

lol he is going #2. Rams will trade down. Lots of fans fixated on Blackmon and fatty from South Carolina, but I'm much more interested in Kendall Wright. I want a speed guy.

I saw the nfl replay of steelers at broncos and wow nantz HATES the steelers.

on the reals brady will destroy that overrated broncos defense.

:(

Now this is Rams/Fisher perspective, so big grain of salt:

Fisher and Rams had agreed tentatively on Thursday, and he had called Ireland to let him know. Rams were still going to keep interviewing people until deal was finalized, and staff were actually in SF to interview Saints OC when news leaked. So they were stranded there trying to get back to STL as all this blew up.

Dolphins got salty and leaked story. Surprised both Rams and Fisher, as they had agreed to keep it confidential until all things final

Yeah the tebowing was definitely not an authentic reaction, those people just did it because they were recording and wanted to put it online imo. The jumping, screaming, fist pumping... yeah, those made me relive the moment.

Nantz loves him some Brady.

Nantz thinks he's Jim Nance.

Yeah just the way it happened was so completely unexpected and amazing anyone who cared even a tiny bit about the game was probably amazed.

My uncle just sent me an email telling me the Patriots were going to lose in 64 size font. Silly Denver people!

New State Farm commercial this weekend with Clay Matthews. Putting a black guy in the last one must not have gone over well in GB

The joke was good at first, now State Farm is going to far (as I said with the Raji bit) and they're running it into the ground. Especially odd that they seem to be targeting exclusively Packer fans.

If true, :lol @ the Dolphins.

Local media guy Bernie M is saying the Dolphins actions reaffirmed for Fisher he had made the right choice in picking St. Louis.

Rodgers has to cash in while he can before he is out the league in a few years, possibly in jail after hitting a women with cancer.

I like Bernie, but I just assume all media people property of local NFL team until persuaded otherwise. He'll be critical, but generally sticks up for team on national level

I think if the Rams could extract Cleveland's 2nd 1st round pick and take Blackmon and then grab some line help with the later pick, that would be deal.
