I actually remember the game better than a lot of more recent games. It was a blowout and he defense basically did everything, but that's what makes it memorable.

And don't act like that's not what SF would basically need to win the SB. You'd consider it the best Super Bowl ever.

won't you let me troll bucs age.... one more time??

That video is gold.

Yeah it is, that guy was even ahead of the Coors Light question the coach commercials with his little Ditka bit at the end. He should get royalties.

This is the first playoffs in as long time where I actually have teams to root for. Usually the playoffs are a group of teams I hate to varying degrees. But I really want the Broncos and Texans to win. It would suck to see them play each other, but it would be nice if one of them advanced to give me another week of non-hate watching

Still concerned that Fisher has final call on personnel, but really, how could he be worse than what they've had? In the past ten years, they've drafted one Pro Bowler. Steven Jackson. No one else. You would literally have to try to be so inept.

Sportscenter has a headline that says "Dolphins lose again" in regards to the Jeff Fisher to the Rams deal. Trollin'.

I'm so fucking hyped for tomorrow, I probably won't sleep.

you bolded the losers? unorthodox but i understand you. thank you for the vote of confidence in the niners brother! your support is appreciated

Aww didn't mean to hurt your feelings bro. If it makes it any better I am pulling for you guys. So good luck 49ers. Good luck New England. Good luck to both of you Houston and Baltimore. The rest of you, well you can figure that out.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck i'm nervous for tomorrows game

don't be. Even though I've criticized Alex for most of his career...as well as this year...I don't think he is nervous himself. So if Alex isn't nervous, neither should you be.

He knows his job this game....his game managing ability will come in handy in this game.

our defense will keep everything in front of them and allow the Saints to go on their usual 70+ yard dink and dunk drives...but hopefully the leagues best redzone defense holds them to fieldgoals. Along the way on these types of drives we will hopefully get some tip passes, missed passes, and fumbles. We'll see.

And hopefully we catch them for some big plays, on some of the blitzes they send us....and if its not there...fine punt it and make them work for it again.

if they can beat us with this approach (and it worked for them against the Colts in the SuperBowl) then so be it. But I don't think that will happen. I think there will be opportunities for us to capitalize on.

I'm pumped up man.....fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu can't f'ing wait!

i understand, I was nervous about facing Kellen Clemens as well....but we got passed that test, now we just have Drew Brees to worry about.

the secondary knows about his pump fakes. They didn't fall for them last year, and they won't fall for them this year.

I'm worried about Sproles on 3rd downs.

Nope. You can only hide Alex Smith's true nature for so long. He is Trent Dilfer reborn. Unfortunately you guys dont have a defense anywhere near as good as the Ravens did. It's good, but not good enough to carry Smith any further. Especially against a team that is going to put pressure on him to score TD's instead of FG's.

My god your posts just keep getting crazier. Not to spoil anything for you but Trent Dilfer won a fucking SB with a great D, just like the 9ers have.

as a 9er fan, that is what I thought for most of the season. But I've accepted that Harbaugh has a good formula going on here. It took the Ravens to play mistake free football to beat us...legitimately beat us. They took no sacks and didn't turn the ball over.

The Saints have the personal, the QB, the HC to do it as well....but I don't think they will be patient enough.
