oh god, that ending. I could hardly handle it. Been so long I've been able to cheer a niner playoff win. Feels good, man.

Cannot wait for FMT's post.

Now time for Teabag to realize praying to imaginary magic men does not win games.

Two technical questions

1) Whats up with the game timing? if SF had gone to OT, we would have missed half the pats game....why did they plan it like that?

2) Game timing....when SF scored their last TD, there were 4 seconds left. Theys cored the EP, giving the saints time to make a hail mary.

Does the clock run if they go for 2 points? That is, if SF had lined up for two points, would the quarterback just have to run around for 4 seconds to end the game? Why not just do that?

Anybody?

NFL playoffs are weird this year. Only 1 great team, a handful of good teams, and a bunch of "better than the rest of the crap" teams. Maybe I'm not remembering past years as well but these playoffs seem incredibly diluted. Saints had a cornerback on Davis and still got burned repeatedly, they deserve to lose.

oh well, at least we showed that we can play away from home.
That d has ridiculous pressure, but look at the score and yardage, and thats with 5 turnovers.
Our playoff run is over but there is no quit in that team, and thats why i love them.

I'd feel better if the defense hadn't gone into full on retard mode TWICE under 4 minutes left. We have the Aaron Brooks of defenses. They're probably smiling after the two TDs they gave up. They can go to hell

It doesn't matter if they lose. Teebow will take none of the blame, and he will still be more talked about then then games going forward. The receivers, o-line and john Fox will all take the shit-end of the stick here even if he goes 3/27. It almost interesting that way.

That pass doesn't count against Tebow, Eddie didn't try to get open and he could have caught it

That game was in no way a fluke. The 49ers played an excellent game and have had a great season. I predicted that the Saints would win, but I'm hardly shocked that the 9ers won.

Agree completely. Their D is really good and Alex Smith played the best game of his career to win this for them.

Also, I'm not sure exactly where each team is ranked on D, but the Saints D is so much worse than the Packers it isnt funny. Not as bad as the bucs D but close.

Wow, what a 49ers game.

Brees played poorly yet the announcers wouldn't shut up about them. My goodness.
What a finish. Glad the 49ers won.

Congrats to the 49ers fans in here.
Hope the Packers game isn't nearly as thrilling as that one tomorrow.

Whoever the Niners play next week (most likely the Giants), I can guarantee you they'll lose. There's just no way they can fluke themselves to another win, especially vs. the Giants or Packers.

Whenever I see you avatar I expect a bad post, who beat the Giants again, the Niners?

So what you're saying is the Niners did what the Lions couldn't?

Yes, they did do what Detroit couldn't because they're a better team.

That said, NO still handed SF the ball deep in their own territory twice. You can't deny that led to their victory.

No idea about 1 but no, the clock does not run on a 2-point conversion, just like if they were to kick the XP.

Meanwhile, Tebow is Tebowing while we're still recovering from that glorious ending.

The Broncos-Pats game started before the Niners-Saints game ended, I wonder if the guys on the field know who won yet.

I LOVE YOUR SALTINESS. I remember when we couldn't win THIS weeks game. Fucking keep it coming hater.
