oh god, that ending. I could hardly handle it. Been so long I've been able to cheer a niner playoff win. Feels good, man.
Cannot wait for FMT's post.

Alex Smith has shredded the bust cocoon and turned into a beautiful clutch QB butterfly
Broncos fans in for a harsh reality check this week.
Whoever the Niners play next week (most likely the Giants), I can guarantee you they'll lose. There's just no way they can fluke themselves to another win, especially vs. the Giants or Packers.

Two technical questions
1) Whats up with the game timing? if SF had gone to OT, we would have missed half the pats game....why did they plan it like that?
2) Game timing....when SF scored their last TD, there were 4 seconds left. Theys cored the EP, giving the saints time to make a hail mary.
Does the clock run if they go for 2 points? That is, if SF had lined up for two points, would the quarterback just have to run around for 4 seconds to end the game? Why not just do that?

:jncWould you say this is the flukiest game you've seen in your 25 years of football watching experience?
Alex Smith has more playoff wins than Matt Ryan
hahah now he's a Giants fan
Just so we are clear before FMT gets here, the 49ers needed 5 turnovers and 2 miracle drives by Alex Smith in the last 4 minutes to win by 4. Incredible to watch, though.
oh well, at least we showed that we can play away from home.
That d has ridiculous pressure, but look at the score and yardage, and thats with 5 turnovers.
Our playoff run is over but there is no quit in that team, and thats why i love them.
That game was in no way a fluke. The 49ers played an excellent game and have had a great season. I predicted that the Saints would win, but I'm hardly shocked that the 9ers won.
Where's Beast and his "we just lost to the SB champs, best team in da league" at now?

So what you're saying is the Niners did what the Lions couldn't?
No he's not, he's getting tossed in the ditch if he thinks he is.hahah now he's a Giants fan
