Epic moment, but they could have dedicated more animation to it. Aoki is definitely one of my favorites especially all her facial expressions as the episode progressed. I pray Tanto doesnt get serialized and animation, go back to grim dark serious stories, please.

Same here, I love both the song and animation in the OP and ED. I really like the massive amounts of colour used in this show, it really brings everything to life. I'm glad this show has a genki girl instead of the generic, dumb, feeble minded guy.

I should mention that this is one of the many things I like about Crunchyroll, who posted a news item about this - they bring to my attention indie animation and sakuga videos I otherwise wouldn't be aware of. Another person I recently learned about from them was Naotoshi Shida, a Toei animator who has done some of the most eye-catchingly fluid animation I've laid eyes on.
Angel's Egg is an anime about waifus. It all makes sense now.

I feel like the audio is crap there. But, based off another clip from youtube, Elise doesn't sound too bad when the audio doesn't sound terrible.
Its pretendtious.

Ayumi is horrible, Keima sounds like he has a personality and cares about the 3D world, and Elsie is decent, but not decent enough.

I did my best to avoid all your earlier discussion on this so I could have a fresh impression, but I suppose I belong in the "fuck the haters, this is awesome" camp. New ending song is still no Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari, but it's still pretty good. New OP is also nice, not just for Eri Kitamura's singing, but also because "marshmallow justice" is one of the best names for an OP song, ever.

She sounds like a 35 year old trying to be a trendy high school girl. Though honestly, it probably wouldn't bother me too much if the audio itself wasn't terrible. Will probably sound better in the actual show.
Rinne no Lagrange 2 - I'm really enjoying this show for some reason, it has a certain energy to it that Guilty crown lacked, plus it has a awesome female lead to boot! (which is always a plus). The overall episode was a decent follow-up to the first episode, but not as good for various reasons, the last few minutes were pretty awesome though, can't wait for next week!

Although the original japanese voices are usually way more hnnnng.

Having been reading the manga, I just can't bring myself to live the English VA. They just don't capture the character of the characters in the right way at all.

It is nice to have a character that's not entirely angst, and/or revenge based, as awesome as they are when done right, but the flipside is kind of annoying. There's no rhyme or reason to Madoka's actions, no motivation, and it's making the whole show seem incredibly awkward. She's told to do, and she does with a giggle, smile, and a knock on the head.
In one sense, it's the more natural of portrayals; a 14-15 year old girls against an interstellar organization is going to have almost no say, and get but the most filtered of info, but she doesn't even ask for that much. She's not just genki, she's dull.
