Toki to Towa is developed by RPG powerhouse and sometimes independent publisher Imageepoch. Animation studio Satellite is also working on the game. Character designs are from Vofan, with legendary composer Yuzo Koshiro doing the honors for the game's music.

Only a few details have surfaced from Famitsu. The magazine reveals the game to be an RPG that fuses TPS (third person shooter) and SLG (strategy) elements. Rather than just having animation cut-ins during event scenes, the game is being made to have an animeish style for all areas, from field movement to battle.

Imageepoch is a rpg powerhouse now? Heh :P

Anyway surprisingly "good" score for ToI R, what did the original get?

WHO IS IN Z2-2!!!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!!

And holy shit at them announcing the GAME and it's release date is 3 months away. Wow! I thought it'd be a year away.

Sounds like there's lots of talent and potential going into that RPG.

Also, based on how people crap on ToI, kinda surprised by the ToI:R score.

Sold cash money.

This must be in their series of JRPG revival games or whatnot? Remember hearing abysmal things about the first one.

Tokitotowa looks really nice, I just hope it isnt yet another time travel RPG

I got excited when I saw a SRW release date :(

Ok, last minute cast new entry guesses before it's posted and revealed:

my guesses, aka THIS IS NOT THE LIST

-2nd half of Z2-1 shows that didn't finish
-OO goes through Movie
-Gundam Wing goes through EW (actually don't really believe this tbh since they left so much of GW to cover)
-V Gundam
-Gunbuster + Diebuster
-Eva Movies
-Godanner from K/L

Sold.

<3 Yuzo Koshiro so much.

Wait a second, hold the phone. Tales of Innocence R scored higher than Armored Core V?? I know it's Famitsu and all but did someone from From Software forget to add a zero on the end of the check or what?

Not that I'm at all upset about the ToIR score. I've got a copy preordered and am genuinely hoping it's good considering I'm paying $60 for it. I was just expecting a high score for Armored Core V based on the roll that From's been on lately.

IIRC, also SRTZ2-1 has been revealed with a pretty quick release date, right?
I hoped at least a multi with 3DS, to start the transition on the platform, but oh well...let's see what will be the first SRT for 3DS, at this point ( hoping it'll have the same importance of a normal SRT, and not the one of a "Nintendo portable entry"...or if it'll be just SRTZ2 - Complete XD )

Imageepoch? I wonder who's directing? Is it Niinou?

Yuzo Koshiro? Well at least the music should be good. If he's doing the score alone I wonder if that means it really is Niinou's next game.

Why would you assume a transition to the 3DS? The DS always had it's own SRW titles that were typically standalone and not part of longer story arcs.

Toki to Tawa sounds good. Can't wait to see more.

As for Z-2? Good. Not only because I look forward to it, but also now hopefully all those people who were hating on MasouKishin II so much can finally be silenced.

Here are all the Fami scores so far:

Armored Core V (PS3, 360) – 9/8/8/9 [34/40]
Mobile Suit Gundam: Mokuba no Kiseki (PSP) – 7/7/6/7 [27/40]
Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS) – 10/10/9/10 [39/40]
Tales of Innocence R (PSV) – 9/9/9/9 [36/40]
Tropico 4 (360) – 8/8/7/8 [31/40]
WWE ’12 (PS3) – 9/8/9/8 [34/40]
Zoo Keeper 3D (3DS) – 7/7/7/6 [27/40]

Toki to Towa scans are out. I'll echo highluxury in saying that it looks kind of like Tales of Vesperia.

As I told Shouta, if you have Big O and now you're bringing in Tetsujin 28, then GIVE ME GIANT ROBO FINALLY DAMNIT.

It seems in April there's for 3DS a game with a tentative title

「シフティングワールド 白と黒の迷宮

Which through GT is Black & White Shifting World or something like that.

...

...Don't tell me someone is really bringing that Askys puzzle game in Japan O_O

However, at this point, we'll have with no doubt news about OG2 just the week after SRTZ2-2 releases, and I dare to say a July release date. It seems it's their modus operandi right now announcing a game just after the last released, with a pretty short announcement - release date distance.

Whoa the Revelations score made me reconsider my canceled preorder. I'm poor and can only afford Kid Icarus or RE and not both. What does GAF recommend?

Revelations: Early February
Kid Icarus: Late March

But Revelations looks much better, in fact, any game looks better than Sin & Punishment 3. You should avoid that bomba, it's a non-factor.

Plus, you gonna miss all the online fun!
