What really sells that banana scene is how she says the word in all following instances. Later on, there's even
a clone army of her all saying "banana" over and over.

School Days 6

He could have broken up with her but no, Kotonoha had to find out for herself. You are the worst Makoto.
I'm think i'm gonna go lie down for a while.

Clearly it was easier not to commit to one or the other.

But that wouldn't make me happier... or so said
Juna's divorced father.

It is a bit of an emotionally taxing series.

It's the people getting Geassed for the first time who are winning.

I can still win with season 2!

CCS 27

Sakura and Li are both
crushing on Yukito
.
Sakura gets
swallowed by a tree and sent to the past
Hmmm...That's interesting.
And then it ends with a d'aww moment.
Good stuff.

It sure is.

If you liked Utena and/or Oniisama e, you'll thoroughly enjoy this!

The adaptations of Riyoko Ikeda's works are always classy.
Soil Soldat Arjuna 5

Using umbilical cords as medicine...
you have to be fucking shitting me. What the fuck is with this show?

Hey man, there's real science behind that!

Kaiji S2 - 7

I have no idea how they managed to use two episodes to hype the conclusion to Kaiji's move against the Leader without boring me, but they managed to do it all the while keeping my attention focused to the max.

Isn't it a bit early for this? I am worried for wonzo's sanity.

People don't appreciate how painful School Days is on the whole because they just skip to the end. Watching the whole series is the real challenge.

It's like we've said, that section has great pacing.

It wasn't that challenging. I marathoned it. Its very short.

Space Runaway Ideon 15:
Pretty important episode, overall. Cosmo is finally starting to feel like a main character in light of the previous episode's events, and it's nice to see him mature and start taking a more active role in things. We also see some nice psychological warfare, and Cosmo manages to prove that he has something in that head of his. He came up with a great plan there. This episode provided some more insight in Karala and Sheryl, and I thought the final scenes set the stage well for what's to come. Everyone's coming apart at the seams.

Also, what's with Tomino's obsession with chickens?

I watched whole thing just fine. After the 3rd episode or so, they should go numb.

The ending
feels like therapy after having to endure the rest.
I'm just saying wonzo's reactions are already far more worrying than what everybody was expecting.

P.S. Add me to the people who marathoned School Days in one night.

PGSM Act 47. (So close to the end!)

What the fuck....that was so depressing.

So much bad/sad/confusing/upsetting happening in this episode.
From the beginning there was a sense that
Venus is saying goodbye forever (The show makes it pretty obvious)
. But when the
camera faded into grey tones ;_;

Dat montage :(

I remember when I marathoned Clannad After Story and couldn't figure out why I kept crying when I hadn't done so in years. I always assumed I had no heart.

The tears just wouldn't stop. The next show I marathoned after that was School Days.

It was a summer.

Clannad is a motherfucker.
Seriously depressing story behind a veneer of cuteness.

Hanasaku Iroha 21:
Prety strong episode overall. Minchi had some emotional scenes, and I liked the scene with her and Ohana where she lays things out, especially since Ohana was rather lost there. Tohru seems rather oblivious to what's going on, but it makes sense given how Minchi acts. Then we also got some more insight into the Madam Manager towards the end, which I thought was very nice. It was a new side which lets us understand her better. This is definitely the home stretch of the show.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: Final Act

Beautiful ending to a great show
(Though I would have liked the sad ending more than the happy one)
. I still can't believe how much of an impact it had one me, it's not what I was expecting at all.
