Holy shit, your avatar :lol
Not too hard to rise above Frankman, he was already the bottom of the barrel of WrasselGAF. He's so low, G-Fex has already risen above him.
I'm tired of Frankman showing up in WrestleGAF just to parade around and give high fives after his ban to only get banned again. And WrestleGaffers, like the sheep they are, actually like that kind of shit.

We have to put a stop to it.

I remember my older brother used to try and do wrestling moves on me.

But I was smart.

Even as a kid, I knew that
wrestling was fake
and that performing any move requires a great deal of cooperation between those doing it, and he didn't understand that. One time he DDT'd me (on a bed) but he didn't do the tap on the back to have me know when he was doing it, and I think he almost broke my neck.

Anyway, we never wrestled again after that. He did do the stunner on my younger brother who was extremely risky with his body.

--Ted DiBiase noted on his Twitter that he woke up yesterday with food poisoning and worked the taping despite his illness. He apologized to the fans in Las Vegas for being sick.

--Meanwhile, former WWE star Shad Gaspard took to his own Twitter account, noting he was angry that his scene in BET's The Game was cut from the broadcast. That's not really a rare occurrence in TV as they often trim stuff to make sure the shows flow better and to insure the most commercial time possible.

LOL. Wasn't Shad hyping that the day before? Then to have to watch it and see you've been cut... the humiliation.
Yeah, he was. Could you imagine telling your twitter followers as well as plenty of your loved ones that you'll be on TV only for them to cut it out when the show is aired?

Ouch.

I wish the WWE brought back weekend morning shows like Livewire and Superstars (not the current version of Superstars) to serve as their recap shows.

Splice in some "behind-the-scenes" footage (a la Confidential) along with special guests dropping by from time to time, and I'd be more inclined to watch those shows over something like A.M. Raw.

That was Pro Wrestling Illustrated for me. Good ol' Gordon Solie did a recap of all the territories for you. Plus it had a top 10 wrestlers for the week.

Yeah, it was thanks to Livewire that I got back into wrestling in the first place. Michael Cole was talking about Owen Hart

Or they could even add in those backstage interviews that they show on wwe.com.

Speaking of recap shows - whatever happened to Todd Pettengill?

They do have that....but not in the US. AM Raw was the best show ever until WWE noticed it got great ratings at 2am.

WWF Shotgun Saturday Night
WWF All American Wrestling
WWF Challenge
WWF Superstars
WWF Livewire
WWF Sunday Night Heat

did I miss one?

WCW Pro
WCW Worldwide
WCW Sunday Night Main Event
WCW Saturday Night

Left out the main shows on purpose.

I think the problem is really the internet.

What's the point of a recap show when you can watch the entire episode the next day? Or have exclusive behind the scene stuff minutes after a show?

Shotgun was never on cable. It was a syndicated show, which pissed me off because none of my local channels didn't have it. I quit caring once they stopped doing the ECW-style small venue shows, though.

...

Uh yes that's why I said Shotgun saturday night, cause I didn't have cable to watch Raw or Heat or Nitro or whatever.

I loved how WCW had two shows a day.

Really...they had 3 on Saturdays...2 while it was still NWA.

WCW had a Sunday Night show that was mostly recap stuff on TBS that lead right into the ppvs on closed circuit televisions and giant satellite owners.

dat innovation

Does anyone know where I could see the full match of Eddie Guerrero and Love Machine vs Octago and El Hijo Del Santo match from AAA's When World's Collide PPV in 1994? Been looking for it for the past week or so but can only find a version which has a section in the middle skipped.

Hypothetically speaking, if WWE ever fully imploded or stopped producing wrestling would things go back to a territory system or would another company take the place of biggest wrestling promotion in the western world?

Wasn't there a WWF Jakked or something? And let's not forget Velocity.

Never saw Shotgun Saturday Night...what was different about it?

Tiger Ali Singh, Mark Henry, Val Venus, Jeff Jarett and Owen Hart.

And ALL the jobbers who got squashed by them.

now I think about it, it had a pretty okay roster going for that show.

Except Mideon...man I hated Mideon and he was practically on every saturday night Shotgun

The first wrestling show I went to was a WCW Saturday Night taping. It was in March and the 3 episodes they taped didn't air till May.

I remember the show was the Tuesday after that first Nitro in Toronto and Jericho cut the same promo that night as he did on Nitro because Nitro didn't air in Canada till Wednesdays so he could get away with saying the exact same thing.
