After the first episodes I'm surprised how good this season is. I'm watching at the moment 5 new shows + Chihayafuru - not that bad.

The edgy drum and base in the new OP signaled a darker back half for the show, so it's only logical things would kick off with a cultural festival. And people going deep undercover by disguising themselves with a pair of glasses.
Oh, and I just realized something. I obviously shouldn't care at this point, but does extracting a void knock someone out? The show seems to default to that logic unless the creators think it'd be really rad if the character used their own void.

Well, yeah, there's nothing wrong with it, I just found it interesting since you're the only one that has done so. I forget how much the other characters called him Arata vs. calling him Wataya or whatever in the first few episodes.

Despite it's stupidity it's pretty tight in the plothole department, that or the sheer stupidity of the plot is what's really covering up plotholes and I'm too busy facepalming to notice.
