Staying in Stuttgart for the next two days, and would like some recommendations for good German beer. Any nearby breweries would be good, but stuff I can purchase at the local grocery would be great as well.

Also, any good local restaurants or activities would be appreciated as well. I'm leaving soon, but some of my friends will be in Stuttgart for another week.

Side question: Girlfriend wants me to bring back/get German pornography. Looking for something with german actors that isn't really degrading to women. One with a story would be good. Recommend. Don't necessarily have to buy it while in Germany.

Don't know many of them (as in, tasted personally), but I heard Augustiner is one of the best . It's from Bavaria but Stuttgart is like next door so it shouldn't be hard to get.

The label is quite fun.

Go with Tannezäpfle, Augustiner, Schlappeseppel like other posters said before! For Weißbier get some Erdinger or Keiler Weißbier.

this is so good. very cheap. it is the same as "feldschlösschen" but with the lowest imaginable marketing and gimmicks, that is why they can offer it for cheap. really tasty and not expensive.

It's either czech or american depending on the brad. There's two different beers called Budweiser. Usually refers to the american one tho.

Don't do this, Tuborg is worthless.

Leave Germany and go to Belgium. Get every possible kind of beer there.

This is a bit over the top(Germany has some really nice beers), but worth a shout if you have enough time.
