Great, raw emotion. The mixing of the flashbacks and the current events was handled quite well, and the episode managed to stir up emotions without going overboard. So far, this is easily the show of the season. The only real issue I had was with the very last scene. I'm not sure why the anime staff decided to put something like that in there, as it doesn't really fit with the tone of the series. That's a minor complaint, though.

Second mistake was nailing her despite not hearing a reply to his declaration of love.

Seriously, I don't get why this is even a debate, the consent is nowhere to be seen.

Plus you just made me re-watch that scene again damnit, and she kept repeating "Makoto" the whole time so clearly her head wasn't in the right place, and to make a bigger point Taisuke was completely oblivious to hearing her repeating that? Why? Because he was too busy forcing himself on her.

So, getting locked up in a cage has only made Kasha pissier. It seems like the events surrounding this episode lead to her gaining a new perspective, though. The battle in this episode felt kind of lame, but the story with the illness seems like it has some potential. This is the kind of thing that feels like it should happen more in stories where you have a bunch of characters stuck together in an enclosed environment.

I guess to explain why I like it... i'm synesthetic. I'm not kidding when I say that I sometimes feel something close to a full-body orgasm when I hear things that I really like. It's not a sexual feeling at all, but it completely has the same impact as orgasm. Also the colors are awesome.
