It's a well-composed song of its type, and its bouncy energy matches the colorful visuals perfectly, particularly in the central climax. The opening motive has an attractive harmonic progression with well voiced chords. I like it a lot.

I think I understand that. I'm not able to turn this OP off right now and probably wont for several hours thanks to you guys, but this particular song doesnt make me feel that way.
Certain anime songs definitely do though.

It's a really hard phenomenon to explain how it's felt because it's essentially perceived as an additional sensory experience.

Most recently, another piece that made me feel that way was Ravel's Tocatta from Le Tombeau de Couperin.

Great episode. It would have been the cliched thing for something to go horribly wrong at the wedding, but instead it turned out well and had the right mix of emotions on display. I also liked getting some more insight into Ohana's mom (and her letter was hilarious), and just the development we needed with the love triangle stuff. I wish Ohana and Minchi would just drop all this pretense about Tohru and Ko and admit they want each other, though.

I never bought Fushigi Yugi. Although I did buy Saiunkoku monagatari and that's very similar in many ways. Nowhere near as memorable though.

Anne of Green Gables 40

So this is how Anne looked in the first episode:

Recognizably the same person, but what a difference! The designs for all the younger characters have received steady changes as they've grown older, but Anne's has clearly received the most attention. Which, since she's the protagonist, is as it should be. Never have I seen a better visual depiction of the process of maturing, both physically and mentally.

In the game, Kotonoha is very clearly protesting the entire time and there's no possibility of interpreting it as anything other than rape. Taisuke is presented as moronic rather than sinister (truly believing that Kotonoha is "just embarassed") but is unquestionably criminal. The TV series for better or for worse softened and abbreviated this scene to the point of making people question it.

Was this what was being argued about earlier? I was ignoring most of it because it looked to be getting kinda heated, but had I known I would've mentioned this.

Outlaw Star has amazing music.
I'm glad I spent a bunch of money on anime over the last twelve years instead of wasting it on drinking and partying. That was devastating to my social life of course, but I never had one to begin with so no big deal. Plus I have a great collection to enjoy whereas my friends puked all their money away. To each their own I guess.

Well, that was a pretty strong first episode. Really raw with some great moments, and Joe seems like an interesting character. The setup is pretty unique as far as anime goes. You don't see a whole lot of shows looking at this element of society, so it is pretty refreshing.

What a waste of time. I just stopped caring at some point and just wanted it to end. Even the action did nothing for me.

Does this image mean Chie and Brosuke OTP? I'm not a big fan of shipping, but Persona 4 is different for me for some reason... It's gonna happen; it has to.

Did you at least get to watch it in Japanese? The presence of Wakamoto was enough to overcome anything I felt about the show.

Yeah, I had a similar reaction at the time. They over complicate the entire plot and I just started not caring at some point. Loved the mecha action though but thought the ending was meh.

Love the music when they finally open the Vongola Boxes. Yamamoto's fight was so cool and the flashback with Squalo, while Tsuna's fight was epic and powerful, the hardened buildings getting destroyed. I really like how they are doing this choice arc, would so import the dvds.

She got some one on one time with him this episode to flesh out her social link more
Of course, Charlie has too much swag to be tied down to one girl.

I lav the MKR OP, if only because of the nostalgia. I never actually finished the series though and i'm afraid I might not enjoy it if I revisit the show.

Yeah, I watched it in Japanese. I need something to wash the taste of Code Geass out of my mouth. :\ It was the first series I've watched/finished since Nadesico back last summer/fall.
