I don't see why not. It was very entertaining.

Highschool DxD 3

Tit beams and giant monster vaginas are always good.

Is this the most insane, sadistic priest since the dude from Hellsing? I think it is. The VA totally NAILS the role.

Nobody replaces Norito Wakamoto! NOBODY!

Also, for tit beams, I thought you were talking about censoring, and then I remembered what happened in the episode. Heh, heh, heh...

It is, and I like it too, but it just seems very high. A lot of the shows on this list are very entertaining, and Dead Leaves feels rather lacking on the substance side to give it real staying power. But hey, it's not my list.

I value entertainment more than anything. It's why Garzey's Wing is on the list even though by no measure can I call it "good" from a story perspective.

You are right that it might be too high though.

Morita-san wa Mukuchi OVA

Thought i'd check this out before watching the main series. It's decent but I can certainly see why the episode length for the main series is 3 minutes each.

You're saying you prefer it when she can't walk?
i'm just sayin that if you're gonna lure people in with wheelchair moe then ya gotta stick with that shit all the way

Words, sinful words. wonzo still hasn't learned anything yet.
i learnt that getting into a shouting match with someone spiritually looks like an action sequence from dragon ball z. is that not enough wisdom from the mountain?

Spoilers for the School Days game
In the game, Kotonoha is very clearly protesting the entire time and there's no possibility of interpreting it as anything other than rape. Taisuke is presented as moronic rather than sinister (truly believing that Kotonoha is "just embarassed") but is unquestionably criminal. The TV series for better or for worse softened and abbreviated this scene to the point of making people question it.

Where was this hours ago, now I need brain soap. T_T

CARDCAPTORS ARE GO!

I just bought that. Along with God Only Knows and Akikan.

Despite not watching more than 3 episodes of TWGOK, I bought this the other day. Elsie is just too cute =S

You've also got Hoonoo no Haramase Tenkyousei and Doukyousei to add to that list *shifty eyes*

EDIT: That Nendo is really nice, I've had it for a while and the Haqua one is shipping to me now <3

After catching up the TWGOK manga, i'm super depressed there's probably never going to be a third season with Sumire and Diana/Tenri.

It's a surprise that we got a second series in the first place given the shit sales so you never know...

Also Sumire indeed owns.

You make me feel old.

Consent in this case would be an "I love you" back or "Yes" maybe both.

She didn't "decide", he took her silence as a yes.

Taisuke's first mistake was declaring his love for her, without hearing a reply this doesn't mean she loves him back.

Second mistake was nailing her despite not hearing a reply to his declaration of love.

Seriously, I don't get why this is even a debate, the consent is nowhere to be seen.

Plus you just made me re-watch that scene again damnit, and she kept repeating "Makoto" the whole time so clearly her head wasn't in the right place, and to make a bigger point Taisuke was completely oblivious to hearing her repeating that? Why? Because he was too busy forcing himself on her.

Also about her attitude in the aftermath I so want to say "This is anime" so badly. >_<

Knight of the Area - 03

Pretty much what I was expecting barring
the heart transplant, turning Kakeru into a Kakeru/Suguru hybrid ¬_¬
, and that last scene had a smack of bullshit coupled with wtf, I sure hope this show isn't heading in that direction.

You're a fool if you think you need to love someone to have sex with them. Many times after breaking up or being cheated on by someone I've seen girls go for the first guy they see. They may not love the person, they may do it out of shock thus making a bad decision like
Kotohana, but that does not mean it's not consensual. This explains why Kotohana did that, she clearly didn't mind Taisuke doing that to her. Maybe she wanted sex with someone to imagine they were Makoto, she was obsessed after all. I think you need to stop mistaking a bad decision for nonconsensual.

Hey I've tried, I've tried watching everything people have tried to get me to watch and I just don't get on with the art style or stories. I only really got into anime 2 years ago after I started learning Japanese so I'm happy loving the anime I do <3

4. FLCL

Well I guess it is a subjective genre since we deal with entertainment. I've found that tracking down blu-ray copies tends to help in terms of appreciation so that could be an outlet for your personal enjoyment?

There's a pretty big difference between the Seikai series. (Crest > Banner) You can't just group them like that!

Steins:Gate 15-End

The story couldn't warp up all the plot hole and conclude any better than this ending. I don't mind getting back to anime if something amazing like this come by once every 6 months.

One of the best time travel story I read/watch, would be a lot more popular if not for the boring first 6 episodes.

I'd say it's more like each series of Crest/Banner of the Stars is the next adventure in a story that remains unfinished, though Banner III is a fine way to end things.

So, Haibane Renmei. Definitely a lot more of an eccentric series than I thought it would be. I liked it for what it was but didn't see it as anything extraordinary, though I will admit the final episode was far and away the best, and definitely improved my overall opinion about the whole show. And I already mentioned the wonderful Kow Otani soundtrack.

Of course they weren't going to definitively reveal anything about the world, but the story is about the characters first and foremost, so you can excuse it based on that. Still stings a bit though.

Maybe it's because I enjoy the series so much but the first 6 episodes are perfect for what they try to do. They introduce you to his life and also all the lab members nicely. It sets it all up to be a lovely cool let's all have fun scenario at the lab.

Also, 15? There were 24 episodes unless you're talking about chapters in the game. :P

It's strange, but I've come to the conclusion that Last Exile Fam Fan Fan edition is essentially an inferior version of Sora no Woto by virtue of just having way too many talking heads and cartoonishly evil villains with very thin motivations. Maybe the original Last Exile was like this as well? I dunno, it seems like an interesting world and I always appreciate the "Lower Decks" approach to science fiction war stories (since generals playing around with toys on sand tables almost always sucks), but giving time to the villains just drags the story to a halt.

Of course, now that I think about it, aren't the classic animu space operas written around the same mold? I'm starting to get Tytania flashbacks...

I'm on this stance. Steins;Gate was a surprise for both myself and my partner, relying upon my heresy that the anime was "supposed" to be good and her believing me. We were both pleasantly surprised with the end product.

I really want to go back and rewatch it again to see if those few several episodes were as stale and boring as I remember, but I have a feeling that they will not be. It seems like a definite anime to rewatch whenever you have the time to in order to enjoy once more in its full delight.
